Lets explore what the conservative Republicans mean by family values.
From my research it means white heterosexual Christian nonpoor families. in other words they best not be asking for help from anyone. I have been watching interviews and things from the conservatives. There are alot of issues with this philosophy in this country. It is not healthy for us as a nation. |

Yeah, well...historically politicians aren't all that bright in the first place, much less I'm going to listen to what they think.

Understood. The problem is that people buy into it and vote them in on the premise of this. Believing that this is right for this country. Instead of understanding it may be right for them personally but is not patriotic at all.

Instead of understanding it may be right for them personally but is not patriotic at all. why is it not patriotic? like types think alike...i guess what you are saying is that you are right, and they are wrong...that's one of the main problems in politics, is that everyone has the right opinion and everyone is wrong...i think family values is a good thing, whether you go to church or not...just because a republican says something doesn't make it automatically wrong... |

the only flaw in the premise of your topic dragoness, is that it assumes that other humans care about more than proving their OWN PERCEPTION as right, or as supreme.
there is actually no meshing of ideas, unless there is a extreme need to blend ideas, to create new ideas that encompass all ideas into one larger common idea. of course, this is simply one way of putting it, as "ideas"... the natural inclination of the human species is to prove SELF CORRECT, BY DISPROVING ANOTHER. but, if someone or something can be disproven, it can likewise be proven. so, since even a child is born trying to PROVE ITSELF CORRECT, prove itself a grown up, prove itself can drive a car, this practice continues throughout life.... yes, even for world leaders... still using childlike mentality, of only disproving what does not concur with self as incorrect, or not valid, or not meaningful. so? stalemate. why do you think every civilized society that ever existed, only lasted at maximum about 250 years... before destroying itself with some great war. and how old is are country? 234 years to be exact. so unless, as history portrays, there is some tramatic happening to shake the singular self confidence, of people in america or the world at large, into having to prove something besides what self thinks as true, we are fuccked focked and fucckered. not to mention... your on a dating site! if the words of spouses were proven as true, and not just disproven, most would not even be here. lol... so what type of mentality will most be on a singles site? close minded! those that disprove all words except their own, that is of course, unless they are hearing flattery about themself, then of course, an exception is made for these type words, lol... so, does one think it shall find logical thinkers, who can blend ideas as perceptions on a dating site? lol... come now... rarely. so, what values will one find that another has, that are large enough values to be of the common good of ALL OF AMERCIA? that is a large order to fill. which by the way, the meaning of "patriotic" is OF THE COMMON GOOD... the very use of the word is tainted by each using it to simply declare whatever it feels in itself as patriotic... lol... so, the very use of the word is most prohibitive in blending ideas, or seeking common good between common people. but then what person can know what common good is, if all of it's life is has relied upon the self perception as supreme, this making it base the total proposed reality and sum of good upon the self feelings? wow... quite a mountian to hurdle to accomplish any solution for american or world issues, when each is simply validating it's own feelings as the guide of all that is good for everybody else. but, it is not missed, your true motivation to find viable solution for troubled peoples in the world, even beyond your own self interest. not missed you are a true carer, even if the crux of your topic will but encite a clinging of each to their own perception as supreme. go figure. we live in a grown up world full of childlike grown ups, who validate their own feelings worse than children do. i guess such would be par for the human course, since it is taught and thought that if one is no longer of child age, it is mo' smart. lol... oh well... whats new in the world. total dead end so far. nothing short of a catostrophic cosmis starburst that threatens all life on planet earth, will make people concerned about more than love and sex for themself and proving their own perception as supreme. |

As usual I agree with some of what you wrote. I refuse to believe that man is doomed by his ignorance. I believe man is capable of growing past this stall in brain activity you claim is insurmountable. |

David hello As usual I agree with some of what you wrote. I refuse to believe that man is doomed by his ignorance. I believe man is capable of growing past this stall in brain activity you claim is insurmountable. not imsurmountable... i only said short of a proposed catopstrophic cosmic interference of LARGE MAGNITUDE, insurmountable. the collective feelings humans are creating of self pride and self perception of EACH INDIVIDUAL ITSELF as correct, and only cling to what makes itself FEEL GOOD, is too strong for humans to resist, without extreme want or motivation for the sake of a diobolical need. in other words, bad **** that humbles people, to make them concede they have been self serving ********, and not that ******** are bad, as without them all would die, but to be an ******* for the self pride, is totally different than to be an ******* against what wants to burn black people, just an anology as to the difference in motive. so, this time around it shall not be a world war to humble mankind, and reduce it to ashes to start over, thank god, as the loss would be to large, but indeed, i predict with all certainty the cosmos itself with help mankind, with a severe proposed trauma to mankind, to make them HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER, and drop the extreme urge but to prove self correct for the sake of thinking itself smart or wise, even in the face of overwhelming evidence self was not even close to correct in it's self worshipped insight, nor in it's persuit of good based upon what suited it's own feelings as the holy grail of all truth. anyhow. just another day in infinity time, where all things that happen now, have already happened many times before in infinity time. this 2012 thing shall prove to be what saves mankind from it's own ignorance, which ignorance is but pride in the self intellect, instead of pride in the intellect of others. but then again, any human that finds all it's self worth, and worth in life, based upon its own intellect, shall of course, need someone to tell them they are not going to burn witches, or fagets, or christains, or NONE CHRISTAINS, WITHOUT A FIGHT from an assshole. |
