What is you favorite thing to have for lunch and how often do you have it?

My fav lunch is tuna with Hellmans mayo and chopped olives on saltines. You have to put the tuna on the unsalted side of the saltine so that when you eat it the salt side hits you tongue. I have it rarely since the crackers are pure carb and I try to avoid those. It is pure comfort food for me though.

Ok, I know it is simple but we are talking lunch here! LOL

Oh will try that!

My Nana used to make tuna and chopped olive sandwichs on thin sliced bread so I guess that plays into why it is a favorite for me and also why I haven't tampered with the ingredients...but lemon pepper sounds great!

Thanks!

Chocolate coke!??? flowers Never heard of it but if I drank soda I think I would be in love!!!! Where do you live that has chocolate coke? Funny how some foods/beverages are regional...I am having Sweet Lebanon Bologna shipped here for my folks for xmas since they love it and can't get it here...

Do you make your own broccoli cheese soup? (and as far as I can tell you spelled it correctly - but then I can't spell worth beans)

Almost forgot! All carb and other diets aside, I am ALWAYS on the look out and try out for great onion rings! Best so far (among a lot of good ones) were sliced on a meat slicer, very thin, lightly battered and served immediately. These were at a restaurant where on Fri. or Sat night you had to reserve the rings, not the table, just the rings!!!

My mom always added onion and relish with the mayo...and just a touch of sugar. I traded the sugar for the lemon pepper and really like it. Letr me know what you thinkhappy

chocolate coke is the glue that holds the underverse together. just regular ol coke with a ginormous squirt of hershey syrup in it. drank it all the time growin up in nj. served it in the restaurants there. used to be a restaurant here in jax called swensons that served the entire holy trio. but they went out of business about ten yrs agotears tears . but homemade broccoli cheese is awesome and yes i am ashamed to say i do own a deep fryer. but i only pull it out for a treat about once a month.

Hmmmmm, I love onions in almost anything but with tuna I find a tiny bit goes a long way, they can over power the tuna. Try chopped olives in place of the relish and then we can compare outcomes!! flowerforyou

well mayo is made of raw egg so i avoid it at all cost

lunch is usually a smoothie, piece of fruit, a yogurt, or a salad o some combo of the afore - often soup as well, occasionally breakfast cereal

rarely - a burger
