I am sitting here wrapped up in a blanket. We got about 4 inches yesterday and it is still coming down. I HATE snow. I HATE the cold, heck I HATE winter all together. The only place snow belongs is in a snow globe.

This is why I moved to California and San Diego in particular.No snow, no headaches, and we can walk around with less heavy clothing. I stay far away from snow unless I have to be there.

i am originally from las vegas, nv been in ky for about 4 years now.

We're expecting lows of 38 tonight, with highs into the mid-60s during the day. I think some people here saw snow briefly, and I remember seeing it the last around when I was single-digits old. If you don't like snow, move south!

Ahhh...screw all that! But seriously, I guess the "hate" of the cold/snow/etc. is not strong enough to get up and go. I guess I'm just glad that I was born in Miami so I didn't have to get up and go.

Hummm well it is 32 here now and high suppose to be 54. Sun is peaking out and it will be a beautiful day.......no snow in the forecast for us.........

Last year was a different story we got a record snow fall in Texas 17" normally if we see snow it never makes it to the ground.....

Therefore we are still in t-shirts here..... a bit chilly but not too bad.... that a light jacket will not take care of.....

Snowing here, supposed to get 7 inches this go round, first of the season and a tad early but a nasty winter is all everyone has predicted for this year. I waited and dreamed of living here for years so no complaints from me. (I reserve the right to b***h like nuts when I am shoveling the 20th snow fall!!) The first snow day is somehow always a little magical for me, every thing is so quiet and the landscape transforms...not to mention I always want to make chili on the first snow day!


Just to be clear, I am always cold in my house, no heat upstairs due to poor design of my house. Downstairs the warmest room is maybe 58, I live under blankets and wear lots of layers!! But still I love living on the mid coast of Maine!!
