I ran across an article in the Toronto Star entitled, "Squeeze A Geizer", the gist of which is that, at age 55 men become sexually “Invisible” to women. The upside of the piece hints at the fact that "geizers'" are more attentive, perhaps better than a younger man in many ways from experience.
I used to think that I was invincable, now I find myself feeling invisable, LMAO!
I would very much like to know your opinion on this topic, thankyou.

That article was probably written by a 27 year old bubblehead who thinks 40 is "old".

Worry not....after going to a major swingers club not too long ago, I can state unequivically, older guys get plenty of action.....I was jealous of a couple of them.

As we get older, we're not invisible but often less involved. Have to be somewhere to be noticed. Not saying that you're not, just that there is less opportunity. I meet tons of people in the park walking my dog. Have gotten to go to some parties and even had a couple of dates. Exposure is important at any age.

If you feel invisible, people aren't going to notice you.

funny as an "older" woman I have often felt the same way - after a certain age we just become invisible period.

can't remember exactly when I first noticed this but, one day I got home from shopping at the mall - oh, maybe 4- maybe 10 years ago, and I realized, yanno the guys just don't ogle me the way the usedta

I noticed it today too, I still smile and start to say hi (not because I think they are interested but just to be nice) and I realize they - or most of them - dont even realize I am standing there

It's a real wake up call for me cuz I was a major looker in my daylaugh blushing Guess I just have to slap 'em

If I were looking I would be looking for a man in the mid to late 50's since that would be age appropriate for me. As flattering (and strange) as it is to get hit on by men younger than my son I would never even consider dating one of them. Mind you it has been awhile since that has happened (maybe 3 years - of no I have turned invisible too!) but still I was old enough then too to be their mother!!

So as others have said, if you want to noticed, trust that there are lots of woman out there interested in a mature man. You do have to put yourself out there though, not much chance of 'her' knocking on your door!

Well if they would hang out a sign..."random single mature man lives here, seeking friendship, sex. I have money, can cook and deliver "ohgod" moments". Then woman of our generation might line up to knock!! laugh laugh
