When the country is running on an archaic, and almost bankrupt health-care system, and the Administration tries to correct it with a system that promises to ensure everyone with health-care.

The Republicans vote no. Unanimously!

It's just a coincidence that the current health-insurance industry spent record numbers through lobbyist, because they would have lost profits if the law succeeded.

Then when they failed to stop a law to limit political donations by corporations. They take the matter to a Republican appointed SC who takes away all limits.

I'd say it's evident, to all who have eyes open, which party is more influenced by corp lobbyist.

Worst enemies? The military-industrial complex, the Federal government, The Federal Reserve bank, Goldman Sachs, corporate fascists in and out of elected office, the police.

But you forget so easily that health care in this country is for profit unlike Germany and other countries. "Affordable" Government inflicted health insurance is the same as opening the flood gates of profit to the medical industry. The mechanics of it alone are destine to failure. The economics of it is even more destine to fail. Poor people get to take full advantage of health care while the rest of us get socked with deductibles? Obamacare is doomed to fail and tear down America in the process with so much more debt. And worst is to fix it they will raise all taxes as the best option in their mind. This problem will hit working class America so fuqing hard they will go into a coma!

There is behind the scenes trading that we are not privy too and what we really want as a people is not expressed directly if at all through our chosen representatives.

Look, if people want to make a real statement, pull your money from Bank of America or Bank of Whatever and go to a credit union. Wanna fuque the people fuquing us? Fuque them by not doing business with them!

Simple as that!

it is unsanely bizarre how the political system has created the expert armchair politician, that somehow thinks politics is but a intellectual game and that itself is a master of it, using nefarious opinions to think and promote self as some highly advanced intellectual, but loving to think of self as some friend of peoples in high places, when true intellectual ultimate political power, would just as easily sneeze, than to make decisions to ruin the armchair politicians life, even causing the ceasing of it's very life.

funny how delusions of self grandeaur of self as brilliant, create the self demise every time, individually, and wholly for an entire society.

well, maybe you should just bless us all with your almighty knowledge... i can admit i know nothing, can you?

American style Republicans don't scare me so much. Al-Qaeda neither
but they did hijack a few planeloads of innocent people and murder
thousands a while back. So I'd say that Al-Qaeda definitely sucks more.

This health care bill will also be the first time in history Americans will be forced to pay into PRIVATE companies. If that doesn't ooze corruption, greed, and scandals I don't know what does.

This country is slowly being taken over by the mega rich. Thanks to Obama we will have no choice but to stuff money in their pockets regardless of how much they will be making. Our founding fathers would have had Obama impeached and shot for what he is doing.

Single payer health care will be the best health care bargain we ever got and get us an incredible increase in overall bang for our buck.
That's why everybody else is doing it.

We've been forced to buy insurance for years and years.
Take auto insurance for instance.

Whoop-de-doo. Big whoop.

Auto insurance may be mandatory but nobody is forced to pay it and can still take the chance driving their cars with out it much like 99% of the illegals do on a daily basis. It is mandatory we pay the electric company but we still have the choice of living in a house with no electricity.

Unless you are living in a cave in the ground somewhere you are going to be forced to pay for heath insurance no matter what you do even if you are not working.

You think any Government programs get a bang for our buck? That a laugh! Our Government pays 10 times what something should normally cost.In 2009 you had over $60,000,000,000 just in medicare fraud.FOR A SINGLE YEAR!That is over 1,000,000,000 for ever state in America! You call that efficent?Lets not even get into overcharging and price gouging on medicare.

Obama is nothing but a terrorist using our tax dollars to lead this country into finical ruin.He seems to be accomplishing that goal.

Medicare Fraud: A $60 Billion Crime

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/10/23/60minutes/main5414390.shtml

(CBS) Of all the problems facing the United States right now, none are more important than health care.

President Obama says rising costs are driving huge federal budget deficits that imperil our future, and that there is enough waste and fraud in the system to pay for health care reform if it was eliminated.

At the center of both issues is Medicare, the government insurance program that provides health care to 46 million elderly and disabled Americans. But it also provides a rich and steady income stream for criminals who are constantly finding new ways to steal a sizable chunk of the half trillion dollars that are paid out each year in Medicare benefits.

In fact, Medicare fraud - estimated now to total about $60 billion a year - has become one of, if not the most profitable, crimes in America.

This story may raise your blood pressure, along with some troubling questions about our government's ability to manage a medical bureaucracy.

HA! The Republican Party ran this country in the dirt. Now they vote no. Standing in the way of our recovery and future.

Actually politicians run this country into the dirt........they are all responsible......and Dem voted no right along with the to increasing the deficit......and voted yes to trying to reduce the deficit by 4 trillion dollars which is an improvement...............they should be voting bo on everything that costs money at this point and creates deficit

Really because since when Is private healthcare a luxury and why should people who work and pay for their own healthcare pay for everyone elses by having theirs taxed as a luxury.

And why should everyone be forced to have healthcare or pay a fine for not having it.....instead having it crammed down their throats.......it needs revision to pass for the people.....why not instead find another way to pay for like copays for those working and not force the people to pay for everyone else.....and not force everyone to have it....might as well make concentration camps

Having a screwed up health care system is one thing
and not entirely the fault of the Republicans and does
not in and of itself directly kill anybody.

Flying airplanes into buildings is a bit more clear
and direct of a way to actually kill large numbers of people
with certainty.

Don't get me wrong. I am a big supporter of single payer healthc
care reform. But you can't reasonably compare bad public policy
with taking weapons and bombs and killing people.

NO! I must correct you here. BOTH sides are killing people! The DNC is as much a part of the problem as the GOP. Obama care was shoved down our throats by, the DNC and Obama! Now who do you think these DNC people are investing in as we speak? The DNC has not even looked at the social models of other countries to see what works. Germany has a model that works great. They have total transparency now. Instead of stripping the profit from health care in general as well as Auto Insurance and demanding total transparency and enforcing it what have we got? And we also have to foot the bill for "poor" people and illegal aliens who don't pay into the system. And I suppose the rich people should pay for this out of the goodness of their hearts? Why?

Poor people are just as much to blame becasue these ignorant wastes of flesh not only outnumber us they vote for what feels good for them, not for the common interests of the nation. They want hand outs no matter what the cost to the rest of the nation. They think the money is just printed as needed. they refuse to get real training and real work. "They have rights." Too many fleas on the dog people!
