Lost a true funny man. Can't even count the number of times he made me laugh, even if my days were bad. Even in Creepshow:)

I remember the TV show Police Squad. I hadn't even seen Airplane yet, but I loved his humor ever since the first episode. Followed his career a long time. Even saw a few non-comedic roles in a few movies. When I saw it on the news tonight, I was very saddened. I lost a piece of me because his movies gave me something to look forward to for the most of my life. Who is going to make me laugh so hard for so long now?

And let's not forget, besides all the comedies he did, Leslie starred in one of the greatest scifi flicks of all time- Forbidden Planet.
