Having read the Quar-an I have found a startling amount of prejudicial and theocratic discrimination to choke a horse. The book expresses open violence towards those refusing to follow their laws and their faith. BUT many Muslims/Islamics claim to be peaceful. Why is it that Islam cannot toss aside the Quar-an and come up with another book that teaches tolerance of their fellow man as part of their way of life?

The Qu'ran is the only book that is purported to be handed down from God (Allah) himself. Pair that with writings that instructs them to respect the previous gospels (OT and NT), and they are stuck with a contradiction. However, the ones who are "peaceful" have actually listened to their hearts... |
