Hi everyone!

To get this topic rolling, I will tell you what I did...

I'm quite simple yet romantic guy... Kind of "oldschool"...

So, I prepared a dinner by myself...

Menu:
Aperitif - (Italian) sliced tomatoes with mozzarella in olive oil with fresh basil and hot rolls.

Main dish - (my own recipe) King prawns with ginger in delicate lemon sauce.

Drinks - a glass of sweet white wine.

Dessert - a glass of dry red wine with chocolate chunks and small bites sweets.

I prepared my roles(heh, it was quite an acting) as a doorman, waiter, chef, waiter again, date and a massager...

After dessert a nice massage and hot bath with candles. (during the date in the background romantic and soft music was being played)

I was quite proud of myself, because I thought of everything! Ingredients were ready and all I had to do was to cook them. So no wandering around the kitchen looking for the frying pan ;P

To let you see how it looked like I post 2 photos ;) (The light was off all the time during the dinner - the only source were candles)




And unfortunately I can't prepare anything like that any more... Yea, being single sucks ;(

one time when i was watching my ex-wife cut the grass, the push mower cut out on her. so i told her to just forget it and sent her walking to the store for another six pack. well by the time she got back i had cleaned the spark plug and got the mower going so she could finish up with her chores. the romantic part was after she opened my beer i pull started the mower for her

The most romantic thing I ever did for someone was write a book for her and base one of the main characters on her.

I won't make THAT mistake again (probably)....

Well, the time I made her jewelry was nice...
I have written poetry for her and shared music with her too...

these are all nice and good...bulldog's is funny as hell. but mine,
took my now ex to a dinner for her birthday at an italian resturant that over looked a lake. i planned it just right for the place to start closing down, which just happened to be around sunset, and we ate dinner with just each other on the patio over the lake as the sun went down.
