It was great to see the people of Iowa stand up and unseat the three activist supreme court justices who thought they could get away with legislating from the bench! We need more of that in the rest of the states in our union. Go Iowa!

Hadn't heard about this, that is awesome though. Too bad we couldn't do that to the 9th circuit court, that would be awesomer.

Yep. These Iowa judges decided that they would make same sex marriage legal in Iowa and grant all the rights that go along with marriage to same sex couples. This they did inspite of the state's constitution and the clearly defined criteria in it regarding marriage.
Good riddens judges!

I expect to see more of the same from other states. The peoples vote should always have a final say regarding these issues not a bunch of liberal judges.

Antonin Scalia said about the exact same thing back in '06 or '07. He asked why is America looking to other countries for guidance in making decisions when we have the Constitution. At least ONE has sense. People wonder why repeat offenders are let out only to offend again. Ask the lib judges why. The judiciary system needs to step up and take responsibility for the sentences they carry out. Thank goodness for Scalia.

Oh yea, and GO IOWA! Wish it were that easy for the rest of us. :(
