so i'm starting a diet tomorrow. going to be really strict for a month or so, very little to eat, and then once i can get a boost of confidence by losing some weight, stick to a normal, reasonable, healthy diet. ive been trying to lose weight forever. i miss being skinny and in shape. i think my biggest problem is when i screw up once i give up on the whole diet. this is just kind of a general question, but anyone have any dieting tips? words of encouragement? ways to stay on track?

It should just be a NEW way of LIVING! Diets never last you should just always eat HEALTHY! In the long run you will not only feel better & maybe look better too!

I don't eat much anyway, take vitamins and drink lots
of water on a daily basis, and work out 4-6 times a week. I have for a long time, except for a couple periods of illness and/or surgery. So I can't really comment on whether "dieting" works or not, I can say that while cutting down intake is good, not too much-eat smaller portions yes, and every so often. You can't have your metabolism stalling at some times and overloading at others. Also exercise in moderation, and start out slow. Good luck. |

True juggling between dad and mom can be stressfull on all so I agree maybe with her dad and the other mom she will find a more suitable enviroment to grow up with boundaries ...but she's 20?? you think it's going to be a big difference at her age??
