So sorry for your loss. It's never easy to deal with, no matter how many times a person goes through it. What helps is knowing that they are no longer in pain and are happy. They live happy lives with you. No longer by your side, forever in your heart.

So sorry to hear that your dog passed. I know it feels the same as if you had lost one of your family. Just know that you will be reunited with her someday! My female Husky likes to sleep beside me the same way your doggy did,.... back to back! :)

Thank you all. She was more of a child than a pet and I am still missing her greatly. Will likely get a new one some day, but waiting till things settle with my house.

I'm so very sorry to hear that your puppy passed. I will say that you did something amazing when you made sure that the last memory your puppy had was cuddling with you. All of my best wishes!! I couldn't imagine losing my puppy dog. Best of luck to you.

Aw I'm sorry to hear that your dog died :( Our dog died in Summer 2009 and we were all upset.Even though I miss him not being around I have so many good memories.Focus on the good memories and all the funny/cute things your dog would do.

 I have lost a few too!  I have 2 cats & 2 dogs now.And I understand that they will never live long enough for me! Just going to love & care for them as long as I can!!

Thank you for your knid thoughts. She was a little snot at times but the house is really empty without her. Will probably get another one eventually, but working on a loan modification with the bank and want to make sure things work out before I get another dog - just in case. Take care.
