I have to agree, Pam. Teaching high school is tough. Teaching is tough but I swear I can't imagine doing anything else. I have a board up in my class with letters, pictures, etc. from my kids and I just look at that to remind myself that no matter how hard it is, it is worth it. Just to do a little bragging, I had a little boy in my class this year who was barely reading. The last day of school, I showed him how much progress he had made. He looked at me and with tears in his eyes, threw himself into my arms and thanked me for helping him. A friend saw him this summer in the local library checking out a stack of books. So, Pam, please go for your dream and teach. It is hard work but oh so worth it.

Reading is the greatest........I did a lot of work with elementary children, in the library, and in the fun with literacy program...I taught them that if you keep a book with you, than you always have a friend near by.
I should of fulfilled this dream when I was young, but was too busy partying........... |

Good luck and please let me know if I can do anything to help. I'll shut up now about my job. LOL.
