Thursday, November 4, 2010. Two days after the mid-term elections, and I've already seen my first news article on the 2012 elections.

Is it just me, or is it a little two early for me to decide, with any real knowledge, whether I want to keep the people that just got elected (but haven't even had a day in office)?

Seems like I heard that 3 billion was spent on political ads this election; a record high. The thought of starting all over is pretty grim.sick

only if you want to actually use your BRAIN ,,,,otherwise going with the flow required you to want OBama and the dems out before his first year was even completed,,,,

Not sad, he is exactly what we need. His second of a two part interview is tonight, where they are talking about his potential run.

No, he will strike the Independant base since he was an Independant for years. If Sarah Palin gets the nomination Obama would probably win.

I'm gonna go back to bed now. sick

haha.... I would argue that a vote for Obama was just going with the flow and lacked any form of critical thinking.

Hope and Change .... hahaha

logic behind wanting OBama out in 2009: the economy wasnt fixed yet, the deficit grew

logic behind wanting OBama to be the President: McCain may not make a full term and PALIN would have her hand on the button and represent America to the WORLD....

McCains biggest claim to fame being a POW who still referred to some as 'gooks' as a result(war president, potential bigot)

OBamas answers and ideas during debate

OBamas intelligence

OBamas diplomacy

I think my logic and millions of others,, was pretty sound

Colin Powell wouldnt put his family through the scrutiny he knows he would face,,,
he is a bit older and already 'served' his country enough

I notice you left out Obamas experience or executive credentials..

I shouldn't be surprised.. He had none to speak of..

I suppose that didn't factor in because he gave a good speech and made grandiose promises..

How unique for a politican..

But I guess I am wrong because he is doing such a fine job it's only the ignorant and racists that don't support his brilliant agenda..

thats putting alot of words in other peoples posts,,lol

anyhow, I actually didnt refer to 'experience' because in thinking critically I realize that the government(President included) must deal with a number of topics from the economy, to education, to justice, to the deficit, healthcare,,,

there are literally enough different areas to cover that just about any experience can TRANSLATE into a positive in political office and so many different areas that no candidate will have experience in them all

he had political experience, he had experience bringing people together, he had experience WORKING hard and using his brain

that experience was just as promising to me as McCains political experience and POW status,,,

I have said before, it is more about the ideas and demeanor of the CANDIDATE themself(debates) that seal my decisions

I don't care about political experience. That is not what I am talking about.

Your original comment in which I replied to, implied that people wanted Obama out of office after a year because they were going with the flow and not using their brain.

Maybe they didn't see Obama as you saw him and had real concerns that he may not be up to the task. Maybe they were using their brain and realized that his policies were more intended towards saving his union and banker friends than helping everyone.

And as far as adding words to posts, I think if I looked at other threads I could certainly find ample evidence of comments similar to the ones I've added.. haha all in good fun... haha

what could anyone have seen in the first 356 days that would cause them to want him out(given a presidential TERM is four years , the MINIMUM time most others are given to accomplish their campaign goals)

and knowing that until OCTOBER of 2009 we were still operating under the budget of the PREVIOUS administration?

I can respect that thats a priority for you :)

I still will be looking for intelligence and diplomacy in a President and it wont hurt if they have had to struggle somewhat in life and have raised healthy , respectful, productive children
