Okay... on another site. I sent a message to a user.

The response I got 'I don't date bbw, or ever had sex with, not familar with that'

whoa

Okay.

Couldn't he have said 'I am not interested.'

rofl

Oh well! laugh

Since he said he wasn't familiar with it, I would have said "don't knock it til you try it."laugh

The point of my thread is to have a laugh about something that came across my inbox.... oh well, if people can't understand that. No need to psychoanalysis everything.

My response was 'Good luck on your search.' and hitting the block button.

Yea I usually say "good luck" anyway. I come across the problem all the time with men not wanting heavyset women. Whatever. Their loss.

At least he said it in a somewhat nice way. I usually get told "go back to Burger King"...laugh laugh laugh

Sometimes it's funny how the truth hurts.

You should be thankful he had the balls to be upfront.

He saved you a lot of wasted time.

... indifferent

What wasted time? He wasn't interested.... either way.... responding or not responding to my message didn't waste any of my time. But, it gave me a good laugh.

Truth doesn't hurt. I have no problem with being overweight.

Ah, but experience tells me you wouldn't even be talking about it, it that wasn't the case.

... either, or... you should spend your time better (i.e. like not worrying about it like you claim you don't.)

You seem to be very "experienced" on kinda like everything

Sometimes we just post to know opinions on here

Pssst ... you're not always right.

I'm tired of pretending to be something I'm not.

People ask - I answer.

A "nice person" wouldn't become snooty when a logical answer is told to them.

One of two things would happen:

1) They'd go into complete denial.

2) They'd take whatever advice is given, and say "thank you" and move on. Just for the sake of non-confrontation.

Perhaps but what did she ask for? She was commenting on an email she received and the response she felt would have been appropriate.. she didn't ask for anyone to lie to her or make her feel better, she simply stated and actual event and her reaction to it...

Trust me... I completely "get it."

So I'm not part of the extended 'friends list' and outside opinions don't matter.

I'm still unsure of what threads I can and can not post in.

My mistake.

You can post where ever you choose.. I wasn't saying anything to the contrary... I understand what you're saying.. I'm just saying that people can be honest without being rude.. I'm still working on the "how" but some situations are obvious... drinker

Well, when the thread title is 'You wanna laugh?'.... I highly doubt it is going to be about anything serious or analytical nature.

It isn't about 'friends' .... it's about taking something.... and having a laugh about it, when in reality, it could be hurtful towards someone.

So, please, jump off your high horse.... before posting in a thread, take a second and think about your response and the purpose of the thread.

Friends are nice to have.
Opinions are the valued commodity.
But the truth has a life of its own.
