Voting wouldn't make a difference. Suppose it passed. The supreme court would overturn it on behalf of all the states not getting a piece of the tax revenue. Thereby eliminating an unfair fiscal advantage for cali. Not much different than when all the states voted that all oil from texas must be sold out of state to then be repurchased by texas for refinement. Otherwise texas could have easily afforded seccesion.
Voting don't mean s**t. Just ask the gay marriage voters. Everywhere it has passed....it has been repealed by the supreme court. I hope legalized pot continues to fail. The taxes would be criminal. Unrolled tobbacco has a taxation rate of 2,153 percent in Texas. Pot would be no different. Do you really want a $32 blunt? |
