IF WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOT REFLECTED IN THE LIFE YOU LEAD, DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE? I say no, or atleast they do not believe full heartedly. Actions speak louder then words as the saying goes. |

IF WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOT REFLECTED IN THE LIFE YOU LEAD, DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE? Its circumstantial. People believe that smoking will kill them, but why do they still smoke? If you believe that living an unhealthy lifestyle will shorten your lifespan - then why do so many continue to do so? From party animals to IV drug users - I've met many that had true faith nested within them, but negative external influences had made their ability to express their true beliefs prohibitive. |

IF WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS NOT REFLECTED IN THE LIFE YOU LEAD, DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE? this is a tough one. cowboy and david have some great points. if you believe in something with your whole heart then your actions should ultimately reflect that. im also compassionate and understand that people have things in their life that they struggle with that may hinder them from walking according to what they profess to believe in. weights and balances man, does your struggles outweigh what you believe in. |

You guys have some great points. I'm new to this site and I find these posts interesting. I believe and yet I fail so often. I do my best to walk according to the word of God, but I'm not perfect. We should strive to be Christ-like, but God knows our imperfections, after all he created us. I grew up going to church and I know the bible and I've always believed, but there was a time where I walked away from God. Yet I still believed. So I feel that a person may bel;ieve in God and still turn from his ways and choose to live their own way. If that makes sense, I'm not very good putting my thoughts in writing, lol.
