As to the OP. There is racism in all races. The issue in this country is that whites are the majority and they perpetrate hatred on the minorities making them worse than the others. Because racism was started in this country by whites who continue it to this day. LOL no you are once again mistaken !!! Whites did not start racism. If anyone is holding back minorities, it is themselves. the system is fair and just for all people, not just whites... look at the asians and indians, they seem to be doing great for minorities...muslims too if you start out in a 2000 meter race, that you dont allow others to join until you reach the first 500 meters, than you place obstacles on the path of the others who you have allowed to join until you reach 1500 meters,,, its intellectually dishonest to claim those others have had an EQUAL or FAIR chance to win just becuase you decide on your last five hundred meters to start taking the obstacles down they all go to the same school....what obstacles? thats why this country is so messed up, people don't understand what fair is.... lol @ what obstacles dig deeper into american history, the laws and policies that were implemented since its inception(the start of the 'race') |

99% of what Farrakhan preaches is hate whitey. Got a feeling when it comes time to convert or die, ole Louie will want to be the one swingin' the axe and whackin' off the heads. as someone pointed out to me about using the word 'regularly' in my opinion of limbaugh I am curious if you come up with that percentage because you have actually LISTENED to and READ 100 percent of Farrakhans words? i saw him on tv once... he seemed like he didn't like white people and getting a million black men to march on Washington was bordering racist and treasonish... He doesn't, neither does Malik Zulu Shabazz the leader of the New Black Panther Party who those poll watchers were working for. |

The 2008 election day incident was reported in the media immediately, and the Department of Justice decided to investigate. Officials weighed a number of prosecution options -- both criminal and civil. On Jan. 7, 2009, the Bush Administration Justice Department announced that it filed a civil lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party and three of its members. Specifically, they were alleged to have violated Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which prohibits intimidation, coercion or threats against "any person for voting or attempting to vote." The aims of the lawsuit were fairly limited: "The Department seeks an injunction preventing any future deployment of, or display of weapons by, New Black Panther Party members at the entrance to polling locations." In other words, the aim was to make sure they didn't do something similar again in the future. This section of the law does not subject violators to criminal penalties (fines or jail time, for example). The Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice, which handles all racially motivated voter intimidation offenses, determined that "the facts did not constitute a prosecutable violation of the federal criminal civil rights statutes," according to testimony provided by Thomas E. Perez , Assistant Attorney General, on May 14, 2010. Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler confirmed to PolitiFact that that determination not to file criminal charges was made prior to the filing of the civil case. We discriminated against blacks only in the schools??? That wasn't even our discussion. So I can't prove you wrong since it doesn't make sense. You stated one of the ways we are racist is by failing our black kids in school. Well prove it. Prove that it's a race thing and not a poor school/ verses wealthy school problem. Go ahead and try. |

As to the OP. There is racism in all races. The issue in this country is that whites are the majority and they perpetrate hatred on the minorities making them worse than the others. Because racism was started in this country by whites who continue it to this day. LOL no you are once again mistaken !!! Whites did not start racism. Geez take a history course or just be silent and read the thread. LOL The native Americans were enslaving each other long before whitey ever got here! Not to mention the Mayans also enslaved other Latins. Humans are racist by there very nature all you have to do is LOOK at our cultural history!!!! Look what the Natives did with Roanoke Colony and other English and Spanish settlers. |
