1 Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace.

I just love this verse. It helped me to find the loving God of my understanding. It freed me from the bondage of religion and help me to understand the religious intolerance of spiritual principles. Some say that this is talking about marriage. That is okay because I was married to a religion that was keeping me sick. I can remember my first meeting and thinking this stuff is against my religion but I had a spiritual awakening one day. God, through others just like me had been freed from the bondage of self. I had found peace with others who could see the difference between recovery and salvation. There is a peace in God that defies understanding at times.:heart:

Don't worry about it, it seems that some people think that "other religion" means you are not allowed to discuss Christian beliefs in the Christian singles forum, whether or not the posts are inflamatory.

I made up my favorite Bible verse. I had to make it up because it was not included in the Bible, but I believe it to be true.

"Jesus laughed"

"Jesus laughed"

The inscription on a coin of the period reads “Ti[berivs] Caesar Divi Avg[vsti] F[ilivs] Avgvstvs” (“Caesar Augustus Tiberius, son of the Divine Augustus”), claiming that Augustus was a god.

Matthew 22:21 "Caesar's," they replied.
Then he said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

Maybe they should have asked Jesus which God he believed in.laugh

Psalm 23rd chapter

The Lord is my shepherd:
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures:
he leadth me
beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shawdow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell inn the house
of the Lord for ever.

One of my favorite Bible verses:

"And we know that ALL things

work together for good

to them that love God,

to them who are the called

according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28
