As if it could not get any weirder...
"(CNN) – A confrontation Wednesday night between New York gubernatorial hopeful Carl Paladino and a reporter threatened to turn physical. The dustup was captured in an exclusive cellphone video by CNN affiliate YNN Albany. It began with New York Post statehouse columnist Fred Dicker pressing Paladino to back up an explosive allegation he made to the Politico website Wednesday that his opponent, Andrew Cuomo, had taken "paramours" during his marriage to Kerry Kennedy. "Do you have any evidence of the charge you made?" "You'll get it at the appropriate time. You're not entitled to it," retorted Paladino, who then derided Dicker as Cuomo's "stalking horse" and "bird dog." The confrontation escalated from there. "You send another goon to my daughter's house and I'll take you out, buddy," an apparent reference to the Post's coverage of a daughter Paladino had out of wedlock. Dicker shot back: "You gonna take me out?" "Yeah." "How you gonna do that?" "Watch," Paladino ended with, before walking off. The Post declined to comment on the altercation. The Paladino camp did not immediately return a request for comment. Nor did the Cuomo camp." http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/09/30/paladino-spars-with-reporter/#more-125681 Film at eleven. |

if your going to "take someone out", don't tell them when the media is around.... This goes along with the RW Nutbag's assertion about "second ammendment remedies" (in case their votes do not work). It was just the usual suspects in America calling for violence now even their candidates are... "Sharon Engle says you should NOT get Unemployment benefits because it makes you lazy!! This woman has proposed to (if elected): 1. Stop Social Security 2. Get rid of Unemployement (in the middle of a horrible recession..!..?) 3. If she doesn't get her way, the TEA PARTY should use their "Second Ammendment Rights and take out Senator Harry Reid. This woman could very easily play the leading role in: "ONE FLEW OVER THE COOKOO'S NEST Part II - The Tea Party Generation." Know what baffles my mind? Most ALL Conservatives claim to be Christians. Jesus said to care for the poor - over and over again in the New Testament. So, how come the Conservative Tea Party Republican "Christians" don't give a flying Hoot about the poor?! HYPOCRISY http://wn.com/Tea_Party_Republican_Senate_Candidate_Sharon_Engle_on_Abortion_Unemployment__Twilight_Zone! |

I would have respected the man if he would have beat the crap out of the reporter.
But threaten him like that? DUOH! |

Gotta love the second ammendment rights!! Especially when someone threatens
well, its hard to prove that 'take you out' is a physical threat
it could also mean, politically speaking, to ruin someones life or career,,,, (I suspect thats not what this op meant but I am just pointing out that it would be hard to actually PROVE which way he meant it) |

Here in California a threat like that can be called a terrorist threat and comes with a one year jail sentence!

First of all you lose all credibility when you use words like Teabagger. Second of all, the reporter can and should be sued for slander and if someone harassed my daughter I would do the same thing. |

First of all you lose all credibility when you use words like Teabagger. Second of all, the reporter can and should be sued for slander and if someone harassed my daughter I would do the same thing. This is beyond stupid....the reporter was asking the T-bagger about his slanderous accusations...well, read for yourselves yall... How to read: "It began with New York Post statehouse columnist Fred Dicker pressing Paladino to back up an explosive allegation he made to the Politico website Wednesday that his opponent, Andrew Cuomo, had taken "paramours" during his marriage to Kerry Kennedy." Who's slandering whom? WTF? LOL... "Thank you for sending me a copy of your book; I'll waste no time reading it." -- Moses Hadas |
