I was just thinking.

I told my gay that I'm moving to Newfoundland indefinitely a couple of weekends ago. Which was sad and scary but he's totally 100% awesome and happy for me.

This weekend we were there for the weekend and had a good time. He's been showing me some of his sketches and comic drawings and I just love them. We got to geeking out and he said he'd draw me a Rogue before I go, in full colour.

Which is absolutely incredible because she's my favourite character and he'll kill that drawing. So today we were texting about it and I mentioned which era and outfit I liked best. And he mentioned the 90's cartoon era with her jacket and belt. You know, the one where her and Gambit had their thing? Which is exactly what I was thinking and he's started practising them together for my pic.

He's so great to do this for me. It makes me think that good friends really do make life incredible.

Two of my friends today dropped everything (school mostly) to go to my grandfather's funeral with me.I thought that was very nice of them and appreciated it, but felt guilty because they did so .. ha ha silly I guess.

People have had to give me rides for the months my car has been broken.

I too am relocating. A friend, although hurt, was kind enough to tell me that he was happy for me.

Another friend offered to help with advertising for my business without charging me.

I really do feel blessed that people do such kind things and ask nothing in return.

I find it rare nowadays that such kindness still exists. I am glad to know that it finds all of us at times ... probably when we need it the most.

With or without self interest being involved somehow?

Me receiving expressions of affection from someone who lives far away from me always makes my day a more cheerful one.

I lost my home due to layoff and a friend has taken me in until I can get back on my feet. Friends are great!

My eldest son bought us a house....and proceeded to renovate it....including arriving yesterday with a double wide fan forced oven, and a five burner commercial sized gas stove...

Someone I like for months has been asking me out for lunch lately. He's so sweet, cool and charming, but just confirmed that he's married. Maybe it's lucky having found out before going too far. :(
