we're gonna pay 50 mill. for stoves for the U.N. to give away... to combat global warming, but we can't take care of business at home?

Globalism, Gotta love it.

"NEW YORK, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will announce on Tuesday a U.S. contribution of more than $50 million toward providing clean cooking stoves in developing countries to reduce deaths from smoke inhalation and fight climate change."

Actually it is.

I did in fact read the whole article, but climate change was only mentioned once, and the focus of the article seemed to be weighted toward health issues...

Eh, not the first time I have been wrong, wont be the last!

I empathise with you ...

Its the right's perogative to build their strawman arguments on that one mention ... knowing its not the main gist of the article.

and to .... not want to help anyone outside the country until they get their own shyt together ....
which will be never.

that doesn't even make sense... so we give these people stoves... do they have gas or electricity to operate them? what about the installation? who pays for that? do we build the houses to put them in too? sounds like a the butane, propane, the company that makes the stoves are getting together to make some quick dollars from the taxpayers. seems like their a number of problems here that need addressing BEFORE we start saving the rest of the world... Like jobs, the economy, getting our crap together before we get other peoples crap together.
