On this road I travel, I see what's behind me, but not ahead.
I look to what I already know, but not to what hasn't already been said. For what I see, and what I know,...that's what's familiar to me. It's what I'm comfortable with, and who I want to be. Until one day He takes my hand,... takes me down a different path. Shows me brighter days ahead, and also what my life lacks. I begin to slowly change my ways,... sing a different tune. I pray to Him each night, and become someone brand new. His Word is comforting, not like any story every told before. I know now what I've been missing, and long for so much more. Thank You Lord for who You are, and what You've done for me! Thank You for Your mercy, and for loving me unconditionally! |

It is the freedom, that unconditional love provides for us, to be and to
seek who we are. To feel worthy of such love requires one to be the best that they can be, and to believe that they can strive to be better each day. This is the reason I accept all religions, whose basis is found in unconditional love. Very nice words JB, thanks for sharing. |
