A British teenager who sent an e-mail to the White House calling President Obama a "pr*ck" was banned from the U.S. for life, The Sun reported Monday.

The FBI asked local cops to tell college student Luke Angel, 17, that his drunken insult was "unacceptable."

Angel claims he fired off a single e-mail criticizing the U.S. government after seeing a television program about the 9/11 attacks.

He said, "I don't remember exactly what I wrote as I was drunk. But I think I called Barack Obama a pr*ck. It was silly -- the sort of thing you do when you're a teenager and have had a few."

Angel, of Bedford, in central England, said it was "a bit extreme" for the FBI to act.

"The police came and took my picture and told me I was banned from America forever. I don't really care but my parents aren't very happy," he said.

A Bedford Police spokesman confirmed they had spoken to Angel about the e-mail. Officers will take no criminal action.

Joanne Ferreira, of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, said there are about 60 reasons a person can be barred from visiting America.

She said, "We are prohibited from discussing specific cases."

Some of my friends have told me that it is probably not a good idea to be ranting in raving about Obama in these and other forums because the Government will be out to get you.You know what I say.Screw em!!!!That is just what they want.For you to sit down and shut up.I told my friends the more people who are out there ranting and raving,the more the Government will get the picture that we are the ones in power and we are the ones who have the final word.

The freedom to protest our Government was written in the US Constitution under the first amendment because our founding fathers knew one day we would have a pr*ck like Obama in the White house.

well, my husband wasnt muslim or any practicing religion actually so its probably he wasnt muslim but thats not conclusive of much since im sure many muslims have been denied entry and many christians have been granted consciencious objection based discharges,,,,

Almost all sites are monitored one way or another..they use a quiery and go after certain words and phrases. Most people with some experience in IT understands how easy it is..it's just a lot of work of browsing through a bunch of garbage.

Just to make you feel more comfortable..my phoneline was tapped for 3 years..probably still tapped never know for sure now , since I make frequent calls internationally. They even admitted they were listening to my conversations, thanks for Bush and the "Homeland Security" and the "Patriot Act". I was just out of a random pick probably, still remained a "person of interest", possibly had its downside that my application was refused for any government jobs, not that I really give a **** anymore.

I know for a FACT a member of this site has been looked at.

Every communication in the world is collected by the U.S. govt. and super computers sort through certain words or key phrases.
Its called the Eschellon Project. Look it up.

Every signal in the airwaves whether it be radio, CB, cell phone or Morse Code is picked up.

Every email, even private ones are collected. Every phone call from a land line too is collected.

The majority of these collected communications are dumped from the system after they are processed through the computers. But they do keep backup systems in place and running in case something happens in the future, and they can go back and retrieve the communications to find out the particulars...who, what, when, where.

Especially when someone calls their local F.B.I. Office and the 1-800 number for the Department of Homeland Security.

And when you log onto any kind of "dot. gov" goverenment website, they lock onto your computer and copy everything you have on it while you are logged on.

Doubtful.
