Answer to the first question is: Because people never learned to mind
their own business. If two people like each other, than the numbers
don't mean a thing, and nobody has any right to criticize them over it.

I honestly don't know what the problem is...I just say find the one you
are happy with! Who really cares what anyone thinks!! Age to me is a
number, if the maturity level fits you, then go for it!!
You know its funny to me, remember when all the men use to date the
younger women? No one use to think a thing about it....now when an older
lady dates a younger man~~~look out!!! Hey I say if you want to date
someone younger...then by all means, you pay your own bills, do what you
want!!!

Well, I for one have dated older women, and I actually don't find
anything wrong with it at all.

Just looking for women in central Illinois that are around my age. To
much older or younger doesn't seem to work well for me. Generation gap
or something

I think we all have to find what "fits" us. Some like the older ones and
some likes the younger ones...and then you have some that wants to stay
right around their own age group...I think it just depends on what each
one of us are really looking for. I myself, I don't go by a number...I
go by a connection. If I talk to someone and feel a connection, thats
what I go by, if there is no connection~~~then I don't care how old they
are.
One thing I don't go by...thats looks, looks do fade...I love someone
with a great personality!!

I have dated women 10 years younger than myself. A mutual connection,
but over time the age difference seems to become a bigger and bigger
issue. I'm not saying that it can't work for others. I'm just saying I'm
a little more cautious about dating someone where there isn't a lot of
common ground.

distance is a bad thing too!!! I think though if you really care about
someone....it will all work out!!! I think if you meet the right person,
you will do whatever it takes to be with that person...even if it means
to relocate!!!

Well I tend to be the older women and to be honest I enjoy it..I find that I am not so easy to be intimidated, I have dated older men but I don't like the feeling that I am their slave.They talk to me like I am their prize pet or something ..I just don't like the way older men try to boss me around..but I have neveer had that problem with the younger or same age man..and they are just as much a real man as any..I tend to date from 45 to 55 I am 53....

whats happanen i am new to this forum but i saw the topic and decided what the hell......

i dont see a problem with older women dateing younger men or older men dateing younger women its just when people and by that i mean men and women go after people my age then it is a little disturbing. when you are 40 and dateing a 19yr or even 18yr. not even old enough to buy or drink alcahol or even gamble in some states.

dont get me wronge love is great and by all means go for the specail someone that shinnes for you..... its just hard for me to grasp the concept that a person is dateing another individual that is old enough to be someones grand father or grand mother.
