It's funny, the majority, NOT ALL< but the majority do treat women with extreme high standards and the second a woman has to vent about it, she is --scorned!!!! Hell yay she is and she has a right to speak her mind. I don't think it is nice to be rude and call her scorned, but maybe offer her some advice or something. True not ALL men are dix, just like NOT all women are size 6. Plenty of SCornED Men out there too. These fat bald pigs who expect us to be perfect in appearance yet complain when our self esteem gets a lil low. Blame yourselves not us. The good thing is I don't waste my time, well try not to, on jerks like those. As for the low self esteem I feel everyone is gonna go through it every now and then and guys need to deal with it. If he's not gonna listen to my teeny b*tchfest then he can leave. It's ridiculous to have to listen to them and try and cheer them up, but the minute they have to return the favor its a big deal.

And I do completely understand that everyone has their "type" in a person, but just because a man doesn't like larger woman doesn't mean he has to be mean about it! If I am not attracted to someone I simply let them know, hey I am sorry your not my type. I don't even go into details because its not my place to judge. But those men out there who expect a size 0 big boobs and butt are gonna be lonely jerks forever. I agree that society and the media keep a gunbarrel pointed at the self esteem of pretty much every segment of our youth in our culture and yes...it sux to apply those pressures.

I myself was thrilled withen Revenge of the Nerds came out felt likesomeone was going to bat for me and my fellow dorks.

Eventually, the concept that thier own opinion is what is important will sink in or be cast aside to cling to the rationalization that "Society/men are the ones with the problem"

I can only speak for myself... by the time I was in my twenties...I knew what was what. I knew what i did and did not do for myself. No one else can get blame or credit for anything I have or have not done.

I don't see it as being any different for anyone else out there once a sense of self is established. (barring a few rare medical conditions)

Eventually...s**t is no longer someonelses fault. It is a personal choice of what one is willing to settle for.


This is just an opinion that I apply to myself and to my close friends that I can be brutally honest with without them getting bootyhurt. It is simply my perspective.

I think everyone deserves a fair shot. When one settles for the option of "I didn't try anything and it just isn't working"....I got no sympathy. (That creedo applies to far more than just ballast issues)

Where I work we all vent. None of this ******** about only she gets to *****. If she just gets to ***** and won't let anybody ***** then she is blackballed and can just go ***** to herself because nobody else is listening. But if she ******* and lets someone else ***** then she is a good friend. Because after all that all we do is just ***** all day until the nurses tells us that we need to get back to work because with our bitching she just can't any work done and I know that is true because I have heard her ***** about it.

Seems like it, especially considering it is the only time I've even seen that word mentioned on these forums in the last year or so. This forum can be very helpful for a vent, but if you come off as jaded you can't blame us for calling the kettle black.
