I don't know, but I sure have a problem with it Being serious, at least for a second... I think women in general may struggle more because of how much emphasis is put on them to look like the models these days pressure them to look. I wonder if this may affect younger women more than older - I'm comfortable with myself and have not felt that influence so much. Some of my friends have though, and I find that sad. Do you men feel pressured in some of those same ways? |

Men and women probably struggle with it just the same. It's no secret that women are more apt to vocalize it and demonstrate it in other ways...

Does a bear crap in the woods?
Women fixate on stuff like that without even thinking about it. Example.... I was in an endless line at Wal-mart...tucked in right behind two college chicks...still in thier workout clothes. One with a gallon of 1% milk and a brick of tofu and the other had a bag of salad. I was casually eye humping them when thier gaze swung to the candybars. I started grinning when they both fell silent and just STARED at the chocolate bars. No talking, no blinking....no breathing. Finally after about 30 seconds I blurted out "BREATHE DAMN YOU! BREATH!!!!" They snapped out of it and started laughing when I pointed out that they werent even blinking. "I want one but, I shouldn't" me... "You are drinking 1%crap. You eat salad and tofu. You both work out....get the damned candy bar..you have earned it!" Nope....they paid out and split to go eat thier bland and tasteless crap....poor chicks....I still would have humped em. |

Yes I think men are effected aswell but I can only speak for myself. A Year ago I was put on a Medication that made me gain weight and for the first time in my life I was fat 40 lbs fatter and it effected my confidence big time! Now I am off the medication and I immediately dropped 20 lbs able to get to the gym and starting to feel good about myself. So absolutely for me anyway.

funny joke but not true. Men these days are pressured just as much as women , they just tend to be in the closet about it all. they are now selling men almost as much cosmetic surgery as women. fake abs ... fake pecs ... fake gluts ... as well as lips, hair, noses, penis enlargement ,,, lipo ... and lazer hair removal and on and on it goes. |

i think women show they have a problem more than men do, but i thinks it's about equal with each gender.

I dont do all that negative body issue crap. I think an entire industry thrives on pimping womens insecurities. Ive never been on a diet in my life and raising 4 girls that bull was not allowed in my house!
