Good morning friends, from the land of a thousand shakes. yes, the quake was centred 33 kilometres from Christchurch & at a depth of 33 kilometers also. Currently we are having after- shocks of fairly large size, but hey, it's just another day at the office. I'm about 15 k's north of Ch-CH. and its tricky tying when the keyboard won't stay still. Well just make sure your glass doesn't fall off the table.

Ray BTW Viv Bill Mary Carol Don and myself are all in the CST time zone Mary Deb Carole Jayne are in the EST time zone.. I think I got that right and I guess that leaves me in the twilight zone eh? EST time here. Sorry Betty its not that I forgot its because I wanted to make sure I will let you post it all next time

At 4.35am, the locals are running around like headless chooks, while I'm in bed. I was stayin' warm, no matter what. Lets face it, what can you do? It's no good going outside & telling the earth to quit it, it don't listen. I got up at 6.10am when my youngest rang to see if the phone still worked, & tell me my older daughter was calling in after work, at about 6.45am. Since she had power at her place, I went over and bludged some hot coffee, A MUST HAVE !! It's called settling the non -existant nerves.
