The 3 Stooges are an American treasure. They will always be funny and I try to catch them on AMC whenever I can. The best episode is when they deliver beer to a golf course. They end up playing golf and destroy the course....like I do... Curley does his laundry in the ball wash...

they are icons along with so many others/morcombe and wise/chaplin i could go on and i still watch them whenever i can

The British comedy team- The Crazy Gang poke a lot of fun at the Nazis in the 1941 comedy Gasbags. Very funny little movie. And of course the classic To Be Or Not To Be from 1942.

I like the episode where the turkey gets threw out the window and lands in the back of the garbage truck. The Three Stooges jump in the back of the garbage and the black guy says, "Look, somebody threw away three perfectly good white boys."

Luv the stoogers. Not so funny anymore though. I actually heard that Curly had a lot of emotional issues due to the show; not sure what truth there as to it.

The original Curly(Moe and Shemp's brother) did suffer some emotional issues, he was very self conscience about his looks, and suffered hypertension and drank heavily because of this. After a bad stroke he finally had to retire.

I wonder if 100 years from now they will be The Mozart of Comedy. To think 75 years+ of Their Comedy, still has us laughing.. Mitch

Mitch Yep, and 75 years later and they're still popular enough that they're getting a movie made about them. If you haven't, I highly recommend the book- Moe Howard & the Three Stooges by Moe Howard.

Yeah, I watched the stooges growing up... TOO funny... I couldnt pick a favorite, but I loved it when Curly did stupid ****.

I love the three stooges, I dont watch them anymore, because my children are always around. I think they are ridiculously funny.
