I pretty much know why I'm single. I'm okay with it, and if anything changes, I'll be okay with that too. Either way, I win

Good job It's an insight that wasn't always available to me. It took asking the BIG question...(what is it exactly that I sincerely want in life?) After thoughtful introspection, the answer came back "to be happy", and then realizing that no one's stopping me |

By choice at this point.
Came to this site with big hopes but found that I had some issues going on with trust and stuff so I have been working on me since then. |

Unfortunately, they'd been abandoned a while before we moved in. Probably slaughtered by the local yokels around here in their ignorance. |

Single because I don't like ultimatums. Because I am happy doing things by myself. Aside from missing sex and cuddling, even that, I'm doing just fine without.
I have no interest anymore in putting up with the whining I keep finding. I'm seeing my father regress into the state of a child of late. He won't go to the doctors, or even counseling and get it figured out. He's grouchy, and pissy, and just plain an *** to be around. I don't know how (or if, now) mom will put up with it for the next 20-30 years, and that's with me acting as a buffer, taking a lot of the brunt of his crap. |
