Topic: Do any of you?... | |

Regarding online dating, I tend to agree that it's more difficult to meet and connect because the concept is so intangible.
For me it's just about the opposite: in the "physical world" I have a real hard time revealing myself. 2 days in M2, on the other hand, and I've already made a special friendship. I guess I have a handicap in the "physical world" though: being an Italian and living in Italy, I'm pretty much limited to speaking Italian... thus, no Italian woman can know how sexy I am when I speak English. ... ... |

Do any of you wonder How some people seem to find the one person meant for them on their first or second try, and somehow live blissfully ever after? Whereas... Many of you like myself have dated over and over, only to find repetitive disappointment? Is ignorance truly bliss? Or is there just something wrong with us? Are we too picky? nope, I don't spend my time in envy of others, or wallowing in self pity... $.02 It's not envy nor self pity... I can see why you're single already. |

At least the strippers love me. are you really off the market or is that another tactic guys use, im just going off your profile and throwing it in here with your joke about strippers. but i want an honest answer anyways. I've tried "off-the-market," "back-on-the-market," "one-foot-in-the-market," you name it. It doesn't make any difference. The only one that matters is the goat market. |

I think those people are much clearer on what things are priorities , and most others arent picky enough and keep going for whatever just to be disappointed that it wasnt really what they want and need that and the idea that one can 'relax' after finding a mate and stop doing what it took to win them over, people put about 100 times the effort into 'getting' a relationship as they do in 'keeping' a relationship it starts with us obsessing on all the ways we can please the other and it ends with us obsessing on all the ways they arent pleasing us,,, |

At least the strippers love me. Funny is cute once in awhile... But how about a serious answer? Being funny IS the answer. Seriousness is a disease that makes people cranky and unlovable. |

Being funny is the answer for people who like "funny". Not all do, especially when "funny" equals "repeating the same old stupid jokes over and over". |

Your mind alone is a very sexy place! |

I think its just luck of the draw finding the right person. I haven't been disappointed with my dates as they have been fun but if I am not what they are looking for; then the search goes on. Are they being picky? I don't think so; they are just looking for the right match for themselves as we all are. |

My two bits
1) You have to have figured out how to love yourself completely first. If you aren't happy with yourself and who you are, no one else is going to do that for you. 2) You have to have standards (reasonable) because if you're doubting yourself in what you want than that other person is never going to bring that satisfaction to you 3) You have to be willing to open your heart completely and sacrifice, compromise and love completely and unconditionally even without knowing if your heart will be stomped on or if it will be returned. |
