Hahaha Soufie. I would so do that.
Actually, I was once forced at knife point to buy a mashed up oregono blend trying to be passed off as weed.
Haight Street... scary place at 1 am.

I grew up right there, during the height of Haight,
and I never saw it until 2002. Loved it.
Saw Jerry Garcia's place.
I worship at his ice cream now.

But I can see how, at 1am, it could be a scary
place to buy spices.

Hahaha or two snaps up - in a figure 8. bigsmile

Soufie, that happened around 1999 or so. I don't know if it's improved or gotten worse since then.
So those are your old stomping grounds?
Now I want to visit again.
Pay respect to Jerry and have some ice cream.

Yeah I grew up in San Lorenzo, a wee bedroom
community across the bay from San Francisco.
When I grew up (yes, I know there is some
question as to whether this actually took place)
I worked at #1 California Street, right near
the wharf, Pier 39. I used to commute across
the BayBridge every day at 3:45am, to beat
the traffic. Then after I parked near the wharf,
in the dark, I would have to step over the, er,
night dwellers still sleeping it off near doorways.
Funny how you are fearless when you are young.

The Haight-Ashbury was wonderful when I saw it in '02.
Clean, quite commercial of course, but fully
evocative of an era.

I'm lucky here, most dealers I either am good friends with or their really solid people. I call it Stoner Morals, we got em in Canada. I know guys who'll refund you if its skunk or discount their kush if they stiff ya.

God loves Canada

Sunny! Are you driving to Scotia then ferry across to Newfieland?
I've only visited New Brunswick and PEI... I went with 4 of my best friends in my twenties. We made it a point to play every mini-putt and drive every go-cart track along the way till we got kicked off... there's like 20 of them laugh We had to stop when one guy got cut up from driving through the cornfield smokin

If you do drive through Montreal, I suggest you pick up your fresh supply of Quebec "Origano" bigsmile

The first time I ever went to a strip club was up in Canada. I was 19 and they had something that was called a puzzy box that you could buy for 20 bucks. It included a stripper, milk crate (to dance on), and a six pack of Labbotts Blue. Best 20 bucks I ever spent......smokin

laugh That's awesome JW! We went to the strippers for my birthday, and if I had been any drunker I woulda been up there shakin my bacon too.

Not sure if we're driving yet...but it could be fun to pack up a U-Haul and see how beautiful home is all the way across. I kinda want to but not sure how the highways will be and all. Plus, its just me and my best friend going so maybe not too safe.
