a liberal vegetarian at a rodeo.
rednecks and liberals don't mix. this is going to be interesting. I'm 99% sure I'll want to kill someone. perhaps I'll take a shotgun. just in case. :D someone is going to owe me big time. |

maybe don't go there if you are that sure you will kill someone (or at least have a problem) If you go there with a negative attitude, I'm sure that will show through.
Don't generalize. I would be considered a redneck. I'm country and conservative. My sister is as liberal as you can get. She is a hippie. We get along great and she is my best friend. I go to rodeos. I don't care about whether someone is liberal/ conservative or carnivore/vegetarian/vegan. People are there to enjoy the show. As long as you don't push your views on them, then I don't see a problem. If they push their views on you, then that is on them. 
Then again....I don't know how people are in Oregon |

why would a vegetarian be upset by going to a rodeo? They don't eat the animals at a rodeo, they ride them.

and I don't push my view on others. who am I to tell anyone anything. I'm going as a favor to my friend. which is why she's gonna owe me. :D no worries. I PROBABLY won't shoot anyone. and btw. this vegetarian is very liberal. |

Rodeo animals are some of the best taken care of animals.
Its fun to watch just how smart the bull is. The horse just wants to get away, the bull wants blood. I don't go because it only just interests me. Nothing major. The only issue I have with it is that in order to get any of the animals to buck they have to tie their nuts up. I'm all for equal treatment and think the men need their nuts tied too. |

sooooooooooooo how are the people at the rodeo (BTW...not only rednecks go to them) even know you are a liberal vegetarian?
I'm confused as to why you are 99% sure there will be a problem when they wouldn't even know this about you. Most people really don't care what someone is. They are there to enjoy the show. |
