well i got a 1986 porche 944 all tricked out special type with the
driver seat on the right side of the car now my fuel pump goes out every 6000miles and it cost me $300.00 to buy the fuel pump i install it myself why would it be going out every 6000 miles i was just wondering because i cant figure it out |

There are a couple things you can check first go to autozone and get the
right manual then check your fuel pressure may have a bad pressure regulator, check voltage at pump, when it goes out next time before you install a new pump run a hot wire sreight to the pump you may have an electrical problem not a pump problem, you might also want to drop you gas tank and steam clean the inside of it especially if the car has ever sat for a long time.Also put in a new filter. good luck |
