Facebook is clearly the best social-network for friends and family. And a fabulous and easy way to keep them up to date not only on personal news, but pictures of our families.

But I also use it for former colleagues and current corporate networking contacts. That and Twitter. Nuf said.

Yep! Heck, my mom, dad, grandma, aunt and department supervisor are all friends on my FB. I DO NOT use it to try and get dates. laugh

I think I would prefer the married ones to the angry single mothers of three children (AND THEY ARE MY WORLD!) who send me horrible messages about killing me with thousands of steak knives and burying my body underneath the cage of The World's Fattest Grizzly Bear in Lonko, Kansas.

I said I was sorry. It was PMS.
  good one! ruth. atlantis, it's because u r approachable, and they're possibly feeling neglected by non communicative spouses...is my best guess

I don't really understand using facebook as a dating site? What are you guys doing? Messaging random women for dates?

I only add people I know. I don't use it to meet new people.

The truth?

don't get mad at me ok

because lately you've been whining and complaining alot

I've been here long enough to see a kittle change in the old attitude

loosen up

I love you mingle brother!!

Please don't be mad!!

I'm not the same person on facebook. I don't complain there. I don't even do dating there at all. I don't use facebook as a dating site.
You only know me from this site..and yes I complain here..since this site is pretty much hopeless place that's why I complain here..It my personal complaining area.

Do you know the biggest problem with this site? It doesn't grow anywhere.

I love FB! I don't use it as a dating site - it's simply for keeping up with those I don't get to see everyday.

I do not use Facebook as a dating site, it just happens because I've always had a huge amount of friends, the bigger your social circle the more people you meet!

You remind me of the mom's in the school parking lot. All complaining about how things SHOULD be and what they DON'T like ..

ya .. it would be great if that energy was used for good, for change.

I'm honestly curious - does all this complaining produce something positive here in M2land?

And like we ask Americans who complain about the nation they live in .. If you don't like it, why stay?

I'm not trying to be mean .. I'm just wondering .. ohwell

Neither do I. That would be hilarious. laugh And a couple times when friends get flirty on there, one of my family comes in to the mix posting questions like .. who are they, what do they want with their sister, yada yada ..

No thanks. LOL

Personally, I like communicating with married women. Whining is communicating. If they ask me if I want cheese with that whine I just ask them what kind of cheese do they have. I love cheese except for Limburger and Blue cheese. I have whined and dined married women. They start whining and I whine back back. I don't get romantically involved with them any more. I learned that lesson the hard way. If I am going to get dissed I preferred to be dissed by a single woman. That way I am getting dissed by one person and not their husband, too. Or them, their husband, their kids and anybody else associated with them. Lately and I really love these women who tell me that they would have to get their husband's permission first before they would have anything to do with me. I just laugh and tell them no thanks. Those are the real sweet ones. They have given me nice gifts. It is like a consolation prize. I didn't win because they are already in a relationship but I did win because at least I am communicating. It has helped my social life. The dining part is that their husband made them or bought them extra food and they are trying to watch their weight so I usually don't even have to bring food to work but when I do it is like potluck and we all just share back and forth. This week the gifts were a small refrigerator and computer parts. It just depends on how much house cleaning they have to do. I am thinking of opening up a junk store as I am running out of room.laugh
