Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) is asking American citizens to contact the White House and the Department of Homeland Security to request that "safe departure" border checkpoints be established to offer safe passage to illegal immigrants who are leaving Arizona and leaving the United States in response to state level enforcement of existing federal laws and Constitutional provisions.

Arizona is reporting a mass exodus of illegal aliens who are selling their property and moving to other states or back to Central and South America. This pattern of a peaceful and gradual exodus mirrors reports from other states that have passed immigration enforcement laws.

Illegal immigrants detected trying to get into or out of the United States at border patrol checkpoints will be barred from applying to legally immigrate to the US for a minimum of ten years. Safe departure checkpoints would allow illegal alien families to depart the US without fear or hindrance.

"We are asking the Obama administration to designate border checkpoints that illegal immigrants can use to leave the US, without fear of detention or prosecution for immigration crimes," said William Gheen. "The peaceful and gradual exodus of illegals from Arizona shows there is no need for Comprehensive Immigration Reform Amnesty. Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement works and has the desired effect without mass deportations."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC represents the views of a vast majority of Americans who simply want our existing border and immigration laws adequately enforced. Increased enforcement on the state level, combined with the bad economy, has led to a reversal in illegal immigration.

While thousands of illegal aliens, many carrying drugs, sneak into America with paramilitary gangs each night, many more are leaving America than are coming in according to government sources, pro-amnesty sources, and pro-enforcement sources. Illegals are leaving because of the economy, state level enforcement, and increasing animus from the American population representing all races.

"This is about the only situation we would ever advocate that our immigration laws be waived, we want to encourage the illegals to leave America on their own and thus we ask Obama to provide them safe passage out of America," said William Gheen.

If the Obama administration will designate "Safe Departure" border crossings and release these locations to the Spanish media, more illegals will leave in an orderly fashion, instead of trying risky dessert crossings, paying money to the cartels for passage south, or fleeing to other states.

Citizens can make their appeals to Obama and Homeland Security by calling White House 202-456-1414 and DHS 202-282-8000

Anytime I see suspected criminal entrants I call border patrol, ICE, PCSO, TPD and anyone else who seems pertinent at the time. I can tell them when I see them cause they try and hide with their back pack on and a jug of water in hand.

You are right, I read it wrong,, passports are required to travel between countries, but a US passport is not required to leave the US

I think a mexican passport permits entry into Mexico,,,,,my husband was here from great britain, his british passport got him back into britain,,

I think mexicans can leave the states like any citizen with a passport for their country of origin,,,,its not based upon country of exit or else everyone traveling here would have to get a us passport to leave,,,,

Americans for Legal Immigration

FOUR POINT PLATFORM: "Simply enforce our existing immigration laws!"

1. Secure Our Borders
2. Crack down on employers that intentionally hire illegals
3. Remove incentives and rewards to illegals such as licenses, welfare, and other taxpayer benefits
4. Enforce our existing laws and deport illegal aliens when convicted of crimes or detected during routine law
enforcement activities.

Why the illegals must go!

April 19, 2007
by William Gheen
President, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC)
www.alipac.us

Supporters of illegal aliens love to claim that our immigration system is broken. The system is not broken. Elite financial and political business interests who could care less about the death and devastation they are causing Americans have sabotaged the system. Their profits continue to rise as they send the rest of America spiraling downward on a path to anarchy and Third World quality-of-life conditions.

By using their influence to suspend our existing laws, these globalist special interests have deprived all Americans of political representation as well as their votes, their voice, and a functioning Republic for which our flag stands.

Very veiled language – wouldn’t you say? Who are these globalist special interest groups? Gheen mentions them later in the article
the housing and real estate markets, Wal-Mart, and McDonalds

I say vanquish the monsters – STOP buying homes let the real estate market go bust – STOP patronizing Wal-Mart and by god STOP eating at McDonalds – let them obesitize some other country..

The article continues

We could easily list 101 reasons why Americans are upset about illegal immigration. Most are concerned about the 4,000+ preventable deaths of Americans by the criminal acts of illegal aliens on our soil each year. No corporate propaganda will change the fact that most Americans do not want to surrender or capitulate to the lawless masses rushing into our nation.

And let’s see – how many of these deaths has Gheen ever referenced? Well, I’ve spent the last three hours poring over his speeches, and his writing and sorry – not even one actual fact to support his claim was ever presented. The article continues:

Since illegal aliens can never afford to compensate Americans for what they have taken, they must go. We do not need to go door to door looking for illegals to deport in America. Attrition through enforcement works. Illegal aliens are leaving the states of Georgia and Pennsylvania in droves, not because they are enforcing the laws but because they have simply announced they plan to start!

Unfortunately, the current state of affairs in America has illegals flooding in by the millions each year and many law-abiding Americans fleeing the states of California and Texas and many towns and cities in search of more safety and security. Many Americans are on the run and finding few places left to run to.

They are leaving in droves (what does that mean? Is that representative of any particular number?)
They are flooding in by the millions each year (yes millions arrive – at least as far as the documented immigrants go) If they are leaving in droves and flooding in, in the millions – what is the actual number – aside from the 4,000 criminals? Gheen never really says. He goes on to say:

The illegal aliens are sending a clear message on the streets of Los Angeles and other major urban centers. They are saying: "This is our land. White, black, and legal Hispanics get out!"

Is this a peaceful message of concern which is presented in the idea of - allowing illegal immigrants safe passage to their own country? Sounds like a lot hype to me - and it goes on and on...

This is great news for the housing and real estate markets, Wal-Mart, and McDonalds. They are growing the economy using rapid population growth. This is great news for big corporations and bad news for Americans.

There you have it – those “globalist special intrest” groups.

The politicians in DC are very aware that Americans want the illegal aliens to go. That is why their latest Scamnesty legislation includes a “touchback” provision. Under these laws, the illegal aliens can hop across the Mexican or Canadian borders where special "Ellis Island" stations are set up for them to pay a fine, receive new documentation and be back in the US within days or hours.

The lunatics advocating this plan are counting on Americans to be so stupid and so gullible that they can say, "Look, the illegals left and walked back in legally. Problem solved!" They are eager to pretend to accommodate the American desires for the illegals to leave while quickly returning their slave labor force to our nation.

Really - So are Canadians part of the illegal immigrant problem? I havn’t looked into this “Ellis Island” thing, but would it have made any difference if those same people had been here legally to begin with? – OH BUT WAIT –
The lunatics advocating this plan … are eager to pretend to accommodate the American desires for the illegals to leave while quickly returning their slave labor force to our nation.
Slave labor force – in many other articles and speeches, Gheen, proclaims that these same immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans. I can only imagine he is talking about those ““globalist special intrest” groups”” like McDonalds and Wal-Mart who have so often been accused of profiting on slave labor. Ya Think?

Immigrants Targeted: Extremist Rhetoric Moves into the Mainstream

Groups: Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) – North Carolina

UPDATE: North Carolina Anti-Immigrant Leader William Gheen Seeks National Prominence

The platform of the North Carolina-based Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC), led by William Gheen, asserts that “more should be done to reduce illegal immigration.” To achieve this policy aim, the group pledges to utilize the work of its members and contributors to support “candidates for office that are serious about immigration reform” and encourages members to take individual action and lobby elected officials. Gheen, however, advances his group’s mission by branding undocumented immigrants as murderous criminals infecting Americans with diseases.

Strident anti-immigrant rhetoric

Gheen’s rhetoric demonstrates an agenda that goes beyond the enforcement of immigration laws. He regularly demonizes immigrants as drunk drivers, gang members, invaders, murderers, and disease-carriers. In a June 2008 rally, sponsored by ALIPAC in North Carolina, Gheen stated that “we have illegal aliens that are drinking and driving, and vicious, very dangerous, gangs in this state that are killing people...”

Gheen has gone so far as to refer to undocumented immigrants as Nazis. This particular comparison followed a December 2007 appearance on a FOX News: Fox & Friends segment in which he discussed the presence of undocumented immigrants in North Carolina community colleges. Gheen opposed offering in-state tuition to undocumented immigrants and argued that they take seats away from American students by attending the community colleges. In a February 2008 post in the commentary below the YouTube video of the segment, an individual stated, “Hey, this sort of sounds like the propaganda that Hitler used to stir up hatred and blame the Jews for all of the economic woes of Germany…” In response, Gheen wrote, “Yea, except this time Americans are the Jews and the illegal aliens and their supporters are the Nazis.”

In spite of his statements demonizing undocumented immigrants, mainstream media around the nation continue to portray Gheen as a grass roots activist, failing to cite his ideology, activities, and affiliations. In addition, Gheen is often used as a spokesman to talk about immigration issues on national television.

In an October 2007 appearance on CNN to discuss local police officers’ enforcement of immigration law in Irving, Texas, Gheen stated, “We got a half a million felon illegal aliens that are on the run, half a million… that are out there tonight, murdering, raping, assaulting and stealing from Americans…” He later continued, “…the illegal aliens must leave and the existing laws must be enforced or America is going to descend into the type of anarchy that a lot of these people are trying to get away from.”

Gheen’s rhetoric was even more extreme at an August 2007 rally in North Carolina, where he stated, “Illegal aliens in this country have set up ethnic cleansing zones, ethnic cleansing zones where if you walk past the wrong sign post, the invisible line, you’re under the threat of death.”

In July 2007, Gheen appeared with Ted Hayes, leader of the anti-immigrant organization Choose Black America, on a Fox News segment. He demonstrated his bigotry by stating, “I can’t see how anybody would think that someone who’s here illegally in the country that’s stolen someone’s ID, stolen someone’s American job, should then be able to rape, assault or murder and not be deported.”

Gheen also inflames anti-immigrant sentiment by falsely asserting that immigrants bring disease into the nation. During a June 2007 radio interview, he said:

We've got bedbugs back in all, almost all of our 58 [sic] states. We've got TB on the rise, we've got hepatitis, we've got HIV, we've got diseases like Chagas disease, which is a horrifying disease, but also, much like TB, is very, very difficult to treat at all, and it's coming in because of the, the lack of enforcement of our immigration laws and, and the end result is Americans are suffering, Americans are dying.

During a speech at a June 2007 rally in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, in support of that city’s restrictive ordinance against undocumented immigrants, Gheen said:
I want to talk about crime and disease for a second…They broke the law when they stole your identity, wrecking your life. They broke the law when they took a job they weren’t supposed to have…These people have shown a pattern of disrespect and a pattern of criminal behavior coming from gang-rule areas where there is no law. And that is what our nation is becoming like because it’s common sense that when you inject that into a nation, that is what your nation becomes like…We got a problem. Well I got some news. According to some rough math I did 20 minutes ago, we’re getting four to ten TB active cases rushing across our southern border every night.

When any article, speech, or interview (or website)makes grandiose accusations using many buzz words that demonize or provoke hate and total distrust of any person or group of people it's ALWAYS a good idea to seek other views and research the character of the organizer of such propaganda - especially if you are going to agree with it.

The Nativists

Profiles of 20 Anti-Immigrant Leaders
William Gheen, 39
Raleigh, N.C.

The website of the influential political action committee Americans for Legal Immigration, commonly known as ALI-PAC, contains a list of "Gheen-isms," folksy nativist aphorisms from ALI-PAC founder William Gheen. Here's one example: "Call me old fashioned, but people should be able to shop at Wal-Mart without worrying about catching [t]uberculosis."

Gheen quit his job as a legislative assistant to North Carolina Sen. Hugh Webster (R-Alamance County) in April 2005 to form ALI-PAC in order to fight against the passage of House Bill 1138, which would have allowed certain non-citizens to qualify for in-state tuition rates at publicly funded North Carolina colleges and universities. Gheen disparagingly and falsely referred to the "Access to Higher Education and A Better Economic Future Act" as "in-state tuition for illegal aliens."

The bill was only sought to grant in-state tuition to immigrants who had graduated from high school after attending four consecutive years of public school in North Carolina and who supplied a sworn affidavit showing they were in the country legally and had applied for citizenship. By the time Gheen and his misinformation machine were finished, however, many North Carolina lawmakers and journalists, let alone average residents, were convinced the proposed law would instantly offer in-state tuition to any Mexican who hopped the border.

As a result, daily newspapers and TV stations began asking misleading poll questions. CBS affiliate WRAL Channel 5 News queried people about "a bill that would give children of illegal immigrants in-state tuition." The Wilmington Star asked readers, "Should children of illegal immigrants get in-state tuition rates at N.C. colleges?" without mentioning the necessary qualifications or that children born on U.S. soil are automatically citizens under the U.S. Constitution. The polls skewed heavily against the bill, and in the end it was soundly defeated.

Since his initial victory, Gheen has gone on national media outlets including CNN, FOX and National Public Radio to launch preemptive strikes against any bill or ordinance that he perceives as sympathetic to immigrants, and to support laws proposed to deny public benefits to immigrants, to empower local police to arrest Latinos on federal immigration charges, and to fine anyone who employs an undocumented immigrant. He even pressed for a Senate bill to fund a study of buying buses to deport immigrants in massive numbers. ALI-PAC is supported by the Federation for American Immigration Reform, recently designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project, and allied with various Minuteman factions.

"The rallying cry is: Illegals Go Home!' Gheen declares on the ALI-PAC website. "No corporate propaganda will change the fact that most Americans do not want to surrender or capitulate to the lawless masses rushing into our nation."
