Since, the beginning of time men and women have killed for the sake of
that which they believe is worthy.

What is it that you hold so dear, that you would kill, or die for?

I kill mosquitoes without thinking.

I killed a baby squirrel once, because it had been bitten in half by a
dog and was dying an agonized death - I made it fast.

That was very thoughtful of you massagetrade, but i was thinking
something a little more meaningful, for example... would you defend the
beaten, the broken, and the damned from unjust punishment?

If somebody got bitten by a vampire, werewolf or Zombie, I would kill
them before they changed.

My kids, of course. What little family I do have, and my one true best
friend. Beyond that, I'm really not so sure.

>> would you defend the beaten, the broken, and the damned from unjust punishment?

Are you talking only about people? Because 'killing' does not only
apply when the victim is human... nor does 'beaten', 'broken', nor
'unjust punishment' only apply to humans.

At the moment, I can think of nothing for which I would consciously,
pre-meditatively murder another human being... for every scenario I can
think of that involves pre-meditation, there is also a better route than
murder.

Non-premeditated circumstances are different.

I prefer not to take any life..bugs included, and intentionally try to
cause no harm to any life.

Die for? What would I sacrifice my life for to protect and save another
life?

Another human, another life form, yes, even a dog, or a turtle, or
something that is at risk, and is suffering.

Whether that is rational or not, I know it is what I have done, and it
does come down to the individual set of circumstances, and the risks
involved, although sometimes, one acts instinctually, without assessing
the risk to self first.

(But am not dead yet)

To protect anyone. I've gotten there too late and don't like the feeling
it leaves in my gut.

What would you do if you had a choice.

What if you knew that by killing one perticular person you would save
the entire human race?

Would you commit murder then?
