Newbs - since you just got here I would like to give you a heads up about emailing people here, or on any other dating/ social networking site.

The first email IS your first impression. It's an EMAIL not a Text Message... so please don't write "Hi".slaphead

if you send us an email that looks like this with no punctuation that is one entirely too long grammatically incorrect sentence we have a very good reason not to respond at all typing like this is very hard to read/ understand

Most of us like to understand at the very least on a basic level, WHY you chose to email us. ie You liked the pictures or the profile. For guys, while this does not apply to all of us, I will say that most women here don't want an email that just says you think they are sexy. We need a LITTLE bit more than that.

Please read the profile so you don't ask a bonehead question that is already answered in the profile. Also, PLEASE write something in your profile. If you email me because you like all the things I say in my profile and I go to yours and see absolutely nothing, what am I supposed to base my response off of?

I answered a first email by suggesting the
guy visit the forums, where active members
hang.
He replied by calling me a wh0re and saying
he did not need to sell HIMself on the forums.

I hope the 2nd email wasn't too 'off topic'.

I don't know what to say.

Most guys don't get replies. They don't get replies to "hi qt", and they don't get replies to anything else, including, but not restricted to, types of letters that are funny, long, short, to the point, show the reader that her profile has been read, grammatically correct or in-, etc. etc.

One thing is for sure, and I attest to it as a man: It gives a man a nice gut feeling to compliment a beautiful woman. In and all by itself. Period.

Of course it would feel better for him if she replied, they engaged in a sort of communication and he scored with her, or else they fell in love with each other. Undeniably this sort of development would feel better.

He is not asking for this, at all. He just gives a compliment. Is he a wishful thinker? A man who has no sense of reason? Or is he a man who simply revels in stating his opinion about a girl's looks to her face.

What the OP does not realize is that the simple, blunt, blurted out compliment by a man to a woman who he thinks looks fantastic, is in and by itself causing pleasure to the man who pays the compliment.

Don't fight it is my advice. Or do. I don't care, actually. I just thought I would let you all know.

-------

If a rude reply comes back from a reply to a man, of any letter, then he's an idiot, period, and not worth wasting breath on. Then again, if he simply says "hi qt" and there is no hurtful follow-up by him, then he may be just full of the pleasure of living.

If a guy calls a woman a whore for no good reason, he's a madman. Ignore the mad. I am talking about guys who send a letter "Hi, QT!!" and they don't get upset if they don't get a reply; and they don't reply if the woman writes them letter.

If you never hear from the guy again, he was getting a kick out of complimenting a beautiful-looking woman.
