Funny how you don't see it coming. They let you believe that they like you then WHAM!!! Slap you down like a slab of meat on a butchers block. It only feels like a kick to the stomach for a little while though. So true. I can tell you have been there and thanks for sharing. It was just for a little while for me, too at that time. I didn't know it the time but we were parked right outside their door. She invited into the house and he looked at me and I looked at him. We both looked embarrassed. Reminded me of that song by Kenny Rogers; Lucille. I was happy they got back together but I avoided her like the plague at work. With her sister her father came to the door and met me beforehand and said they are trying to get back together. Have you heard the song; Give Me Three Steps by Lynard Skynard? I left so fast I took my memory with me.  Sounds like The Allman Bros Band doin' 'One Way Out' might be mo' appropriate-r ... |

Did it make you feel uncomfortable? Did ya fall for them, anyways? Luckily, she set me up with her sister. But unluckily, Her sister used me, too for the same reason. Live and learn, I guess. Was an unlucky time. I would question anyone's sanity that put me up to make someone else jealous. I just can't see how I could accomplish that. |

no I have never done that on purpose - tho' there have been times I was accused of it cuz I was dating mor ethan 1 guy at a time, and on two diffrent occasions my ex was here when a new guy called, and I got accused of that, but it wasn't true. I was not using anyone. My ex & I had been together for a long time and were good friends - and, Yes, one ex to try to make me jealous sometimes with another woman in town (actuall a couple of them - that naughty boy! )

to answer the op no I have never done that on purpose - tho' there have been times I was accused of it cuz I was dating mor ethan 1 guy at a time, and on two diffrent occasions my ex was here when a new guy called, and I got accused of that, but it wasn't true. I was not using anyone. My ex & I had been together for a long time and were good friends - and, Yes, one ex to try to make me jealous sometimes with another woman in town (actuall a couple of them - that naughty boy! ) Congratulations for dating more than one guy at a time. When I tried that I had trust issues with myself. I was down for three days trying to psychoanalyze myself. My final diagnosis was that I was human and like each of the two women for different reasons. I concluded that I wasn't married and I was on a dating site where I didn't meet either in real life. Kudos.
