I counsel no kisses or hugs to complete strangers with whom you have never even had a conversation. But give it time sir. You will find there are many fine peeps in the forums. Dont give up just yet. I understand you. But sometimes a lil sent kiss or a hug, is a lil start in the process of any friendship. But I guess thing like that, is not for everyone. And as to hanging in there? Im not ready to give up. My question what the point goes out to those who do ignore. not from me personally. but thanx for your response. Some members don't reply to nudges unless they already know the person. "Stranger" nudges are kind of creepy.

you r right,I don't see the point either. some of these profiles might not even be real. I think mingle's forum is cool that's why I am here,but I was here just to find a date,I'll be wasting my time.

It seems what ever the dating site you join, I noticed the stream of ignorant people. You send a nice message to a person. or even a wink or kiss or a hug. You dont even get a response. I understand that there are some people who are here on these sites just to mess around with peoples hearts. and I understand that there are many people who send nsty messages, in which you would ignore and not answer. in those case I would expect ignorance. But most people ask in there profiles, asking for a nice, decent and heartful guy to write. And many people just ignore them too. IF they going to ignore everyone, why the hell are they are here? or on other dating sites. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOU. Difficult concept, I know, give it time...you'll warm right up to the idea.

Yes the OP deactivated........Some folks come to the internet dating scene with very high expectations and tend to become disappointed quickly. I lurked around here a while before I joined in the forums. Looked at a number of profiles before contacting anyone. Looked to see if any locals used the forums. Not just on this site either. I also did some reading about internet dating. I figured it would be another tool or avenue of meeting someone, not the only one.
