She had a beautiful smile
And eyes that drove me wild. She was of a different race But I just loved her face. When my own kind dissed me My girlfriend she would be. She seemed to read my mind And she always to me kind. Braids of three with bows; A yellow dress that flowed; Dimpled broad grin I knew; And a heart that was true. Moon-bow gleaming in day. Making me feel her OK. Seeing what they could not. Not caring what they thought. Child-like innocence so grand Was this special little friend. Little though only in stature Because to me she was mature. |
