Dancere that was beautiful.It brought a tear to my eye.  Awww, Betty ... I consistently hear that you, of ALL people, exemplify what a great friend IS in motion/practice! It is no wonder you resonate w/ my thinking then ... I feel as though I know you already! Loyal friend has been the foundational underpinning of my entire life ethos and travels on this spinning hunk-o-clay ... It has served me well and I've been SO blessed by it ...  ... It really shakes OFF the hitchhiker fleas, as well! No free rides ... In the end? I just want to be able to live w/ myself and think highly of my chosen actions/feelings ...

My friends are all to me, they see me in my naked self. They know when I have my clown make-up on and call me on my stuff, as I do them...It's a love thing. (((Mike))) ... Eggzagalaggaly ... And? I love the way we consistently call one another out, best friends for LIFE ... Real friends have the depth and maturity to call out and be called out, grow and rise above it ... We crave the naked truth, the hard facts, just as much as the soft place to land ... REAL challenge sustains/expands an integrity's development ... Sometimes, the truth can even be harsh enough to wind and result in a 'time out' from one another ... NEVER an abandonment ... NEVER ... The make-up hugs are far too fundamental to our lives ... 'Those' that abandon when the truth is not beautiful enough to feed their ego? Never were real friends ... just 'kick it to the curb' slippery acquaintances delivering other painful/meaningful life lessons! CAUTION: None are above being disposed of by that sort ... Sometimes a stranger become a great and wonderful friend. Sometimes the people we grew up with remain our friends for life. Sometimes we meet people who think of THEMSELVES as friends, but haven't got a clue what true friendship is. I've met people here who I would do anything for, and others who I wouldn't cross the street for. Just because the majority of people are doing something doesn't make it right. The people I call my friends know the difference, and if someone tries to hurt them with deeds or words..you are certainly right Carold, I will have my friends backs..anytime or anywhere.
