Topic: Do you have your friends Back???? | |

Of course, if they are truly a friend. I have no problem writing people off who disrespect me. I don't treat people that way and I don't allow people to treat me that way.

If they need me, I'll always be there. I'm still close friends with kids from my childhood. |

My friends are all to me, they see me in my naked self. They know when I have my clown make-up on and call me on my stuff, as I do them...It's a love thing.

Yes, I do as long as a few rules are applied.
I won't help you break the law I won't lie for you, I won't break my ethics or integrity for you. I expect the same from my friends as I give. I have had some of the same network of friends since nursery school, been there through thick and thin. I know I am closer to some of my friends than I am to family members by far. |

It can be hard to do when your friend is doing something wrong. Like cheating on their spouse. my best friend cheated on his wife... and we were not best friends after that. Yeah, that's a yucky situation to be in. i probably could have handled it if she wasn't who she was, but she really loved him and put up with way to much from him with his cheating... My ex husband was fidelity-challenged as well. I think that's why I had such a hard time watching my best friend cheat on her husband. I knew how it felt to the stupid spouse sitting at home. Last time mine was cheating on me it took all my will power not to choke the life out of her when she came home. Our youngest was crying wanting to know why mommy wasn't home Then our dog was sniffing her when she got home so I had to say...oh he has a dog too huh |

Always have their back but if I know they are wrong in something, I will get in their face about it. Yet I'll still be in their corner

Always...even if they are wrong...I'll still fight their battles to the end!

My friends are all to me, they see me in my naked self. They know when I have my clown make-up on and call me on my stuff, as I do them...It's a love thing. (((Mike))) ... Eggzagalaggaly ... And? I love the way we consistently call one another out, best friends for LIFE ... Real friends have the depth and maturity to call out and be called out, grow and rise above it ... We crave the naked truth, the hard facts, just as much as the soft place to land ... REAL challenge sustains/expands an integrity's development ... Sometimes, the truth can even be harsh enough to wind and result in a 'time out' from one another ... NEVER an abandonment ... NEVER ... The make-up hugs are far too fundamental to our lives ... 'Those' that abandon when the truth is not beautiful enough to feed their ego? Never were real friends ... just 'kick it to the curb' slippery acquaintances delivering other painful/meaningful life lessons! CAUTION: None are above being disposed of by that sort ... (((Carol))) ... My dear friend, stellar question ... Got yer back, Mamma ... |
