I'm pretty sure it's because guys like to feel needed and I'm not needy. I just heard something similar to this from my best friend. He is a guy. He told me that one of the reasons I am single is that I don’t need to be “rescued” and that I don’t have any drama surrounding me. He said guys want to feel needed and feel they can “help” their girlfriends. He said, “You don’t need anyone and that puts a lot of guys off.” What a crock of sh****t!!

I really dont know, think its because I'm terrible at conversations with females. Don't refer to women as females. It's slang and not very flattering.

I've heard that before too, and find it ridiculous, but once a guy gets it into his head... Of course, none of the guys ever really want to help out with some of the stuff like running the chainsaw, driving T-Posts or even changing the oil. Oh no, they'd rather pay to have someone else do that. |
