I'm going off to bed to dream about Oregon in October and Jeff's story telling..and those other nuts that will be there....
Good middle of the night peeps |

You are spoiled............. It is pretty sweet to have it all in your backyard. It renews when you see it through others eyes. |

I would fish everyday. You mentioned salmon. What types of fish are caught around those parts?......

I would fish everyday. You mentioned salmon. What types of fish are caught around those parts?...... Salmon, Coho, Steelhead and every manner of ocean fish. But you can go right up Schooner Creek behind me for salmon any time, usually they will use a kayak..also rentable here. They call it Schooner Creek because back in the day, one sailed in there in a storm and went down...bow about every 30 years or so, another such storm will reveal the masts. |

Sounds like a kick. Gonna do what I can to make it happen. Be aware that there is no f'n way I will go in the ocean. There are things in there that have waited patiently for the opportunity to kill me. I am also aware of Orcas rushing the beach to snap up lounging krupa's and seals. So don't get your hopes up about me even going near the water. (Yes, I am a full blown p*ssy that way)

Won't be much swimming in the ocean in October krupa..a bit nipply if ya know what I mean..fires on the beach are the order for early October..
It'll be a rocking good time... |

Ahhh aquaphobia.
Commonly caused by being landlocked. The sand faeries can save you. |

Being landlocked really blows!! |

Whadayamean, you have the Great Salt Lake.
Where you can't drown your spouse because everything floats.. |

My dawg is an excellent crab fisherman, and he doesn't even use a trap! All he uses is his head for bait (the mind is a terrible thing to waste)... he keeps telling me patience is a virtue because it makes us better people, but really... who wants a crab on their head???

Ahhh aquaphobia. Commonly caused by being landlocked. The sand faeries can save you. Actually no. I fall asleep as I drift out into boating lanes on our area lakes. We have water moccasins, copperheads and cottonmouths in the water...very poisonous and territorial. (They WILL chase you away from their dens) Got diamond back rattlers on the shores....none of that bothers me. Just something about the ocean tells me that I have no business being there. (Figured this out in the navy) Tried telling some drunk friends this.....they threw me off the dock. Onto a jellyfish. Then they believed me. |

Oh damn that's horrible
Rip tides have almost gotten me a few times when I used to surf, scary as all heck. The ocean can be powerful. I love swimming in a nice clean critter-free pool |
