Just wondering how all the men and women here feel who only date
others who are like ten or twenty years younger than them..

Do you not (really) think that when you can't attract THEM, that reality will REALLY bite you at that time?

I mean,,sure many folks can look hot up into their late 50]s MAYBE early 60's,,,but ,,to be real,,if someone staysalways looking for THAT,,,it has to catch-up with them at SOME point,,THEN WHAT?

I know a 22 year old with a 60 year old NOW,,and think,,,
wow,,how un-caring for HER(22) IF SHE FALLS IN-DEEP LOVE with him,,because NO-ONE can over-look father TIME and that many years different is a problem,,WAITING to happen,,as she will one day have to spend many heart felt moments taking care of him until his death,,or until she no-longer can feel the love inside her, for him?

I am just asking here you folks thoughts to this??

i won't date girls that young... just a pain in the azz... my ex is about 18 years younger, and i learned my lesson.

Age just isn't a huge factor...I draw the line if a guy isn't at least 10 years older than my oldest son. Which would be 36, I actually prefer over 40.

I have found it easier to date and women 20 and even 30 years younger than myself. I start conversations with anyone I think looks interesting, but mature women don't seem to like me as much as younger ones do. I cannot date a woman that won't date me. So, I just say hello and let them decide.

My current girlfriend and I started dating when she was 19 (I'm 48). We've been dating now for about 3 months and are still having a great time.

But dating younger/older is a huge trend and has been for years now.

I started dating younger guys 7 years ago. I'll never change that now. I don't relate with men my age. Never did.

I have learned to draw the line though. For the past 4 years all the guys I dated were 30 years younger than me. Or more. So they were mid-late 20's. I'm 59.

I'm not going that young anymore. It's a dead-end street. I now date guys in their 30's usually. But that's still over a generation (20 yrs) younger LOL

Age is nothing more than mind over matter. If you don't mind, age don't matter.

Actually I'm beginning to notice it more and more that most are dating approximately 10 years younger then their age.

I dated a guy that was 6 years younger then me once and heck he acted older then me...

Myself I see nothing wrong with what ever age one chooses. As long as your happy it is no one else business.....

If she is way younger than me, then I will ask her point blank....

"Hey babe. I know we are talking bout forever and all, but when I am 60 and my ballsac is all....wrinkly and old...you still gonna love me the same?"

Age has not really been a factor me in relationships. I have dated as young as 26 and as old as 55. The age was never the reason as why it didn't work out.

Must be a secret formula you and others using. I can't even date women of my age, let alone a few years younger. They are simply not attracted to me ..34 year old "old fart".

I think each case is different. It will work for some and not for others. In my case, I have this fear that at some point, instead of seeing someone he loves, he would see an old woman. Because of that, 5 yrs younger is about my limit. And besides, I need someone who remembers old tv shows, music, etc.

I'm 27 and seem to attract younger men. It kinda scares me at this age. These men are usually 18-23. I don't get it. Maybe because I look 18 I don't know. My line is 20. That is it and even that maybe too young.

Nonetheless, age shouldn't be a factor. It all depends on the person too.

I know very few women, no matter the age, that haven't been hit on, usually a lot .. by younger guys (by younger I mean a decade or more =)

when i was with my ex, i felt awkward all the time when we went out, because of the age difference... i don't know how many times i was asked if that was my daughter.. it was never her fault, but i couldn't handle it anymore... that's why i couldn't do that again...but your talking a 4-7 year difference, which is acceptable to me.
