I've given 10 dollars bills before...I don't care what they do with it, I don't give it and mandate what they spend it on. If they need a drink, they need a drink..not for me to say. so if they use it to buy a handgun and rob a bank you'd be ok with that? good point..from now on before I give I'll make to to ask.."now, you little street rat, are you gonna buy a gonna and rob a bank if I give this to you?" sheeesh...better? better, but I would hold back on street rat...jail birds don't like to be called a rat what a huge generalization that anyone who is homeless asking for help is a jail bird.... have fun in your hateful little thread... who mentioned homeless?...who's generalizing now??? hateful - I think not |

spare change? how much money would you spare a poor person if you knew that he/she would not use it for drugs, or alcohol?, but was in genuine need of a little financial help to get a bite to eat or something? I just usually buy them a meal never give cash |

I collect and give porn to those who can't afford to buy porn for themselves.
Beggars....nope...not one thin dime...EVER! (I rolled up on a pair of beggars working a stop sign in Denver and they didn't see me until I saw them counting thier "earnings" They had a fist full and alot of it was $20's. The guy jammed it in his pocket and immedieately started with "Can you spare anything? A $20 would work"...I drove home to eat another meal of mashed potatoes and bread...times were tough back then....and I had just got off work) I never forgot that and I never will. If they ask....they get s**t naught from me. However....I do know the dejected look of poverty and have more than once walked past someone with that look...I hit the store and come out with a sandwich, chips, 6 pack of tall boys a pack of smokes with a book of matches and a $10 or $20 in a bag. I hand it over and tell them..."one day when things get better...do this for someone" at least then I can detect quiet gratitude as opposed to the mouthy @ssed pieces of s**t who crap talk me when I just ignore them. |

I work daily with the residentially displaced as one calls it, and beleive me, only about 10% are grubbing money for substance. And you'd be surprised t how many are homeless, they dress just like you and me because they are.

When I help somebody out, be it financially or otherwise, there are no expectations on my part.

I give as much as I can when ever I can. I don't care what they spend it on. After it leaves my hands it's not mine anymore. Plus it's just paper. I hate that the entire world bows down and kneels before paper. Hell with that I'd rather burn it, than use it to by junk I don't need....yuck

I usually only hand out dollar bills, or whatever change I happen to have in my pocket, but there have been a few ocassions, where I have given 5 bucks. I don't care what they do with it. Once ya give it to em, it's their's, so it doesn't matter. |
