I just re-joined and it seems as if most of the members haven't been active in at least 1 month or more. Also when I try to click on certain button links while navigating around the website (below) the website trys to make me upgrade.Very annoying because it does this over and over and thats my guess why people have left.I was on this site a while back and remembered it to be alot of fun but I guess times have changed. If anyone has any clues or answers let me know.Here is one the places on the site that does this below. Its at the top left under "account home"

I noticed that too when I joined. But you can get around the upgrade link by looking at your recent activity, it shows everything you have recently done and what others have done with you; as in messages, views, nudges, and so on.
And it is annoying how most profiles in search have been inactive for over a month. You'd think they would be deleted or hidden from a search.

I also agree, I have been on other sites also, and they do the same thing, they lure you in and when you find someone interesting, you have to upgrade to be able to have any contact with them at all. It is very annoying, and I agree that is why these sites have lost so many people.Makes you wonder if this whole online dating thing is even worth my time, I'm starting to think not

You don't have to upgrade to see who viewed you, view your e-mail or e-mail someone? It shows you recent activity on your My Account page? Check out the forums!!! They are great, lots of topics to join in on or just watch if you want! You can get a better sense of someone if they are active in the forums...you might find someone you like and can start from there!

Join the forums to meet active members. If you are only looking at profiles you will limit your success.
