Topic: Is Knowledge a Gift from Satan - part 2 | |
---|---|
I understand this, but inside the bible is the information that there was nothing before God. And i asked you to provide some form of information that there was something before God. Genesis states that God created the Heavens and the Earth ...it doesn't states that God didn't have ancestors Revelations 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last So if God is the beginning how would he have ancestors again? didn't Jesus say the same thing....and didn't he have ancestors Jesus didn't until he came to the earth because when he came to earth he chose to take the form of a human. |

It might not, but there is no proof in the oposite direction either. "You cannot disprove it" does not make it true. Do you believe in fairies? How about unicorns? There is exactly the same amount of evidence for them, and they can't be disproven either. |

Jesus only had ancestors when he chose to take an earthly form. Before then Jesus had no ancestors. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. |

There is exactly the same amount of evidence for them, and they can't be disproven either. Do you know anyone not on drugs and or not mentally challenged that has ever seen a fairy or a unicorn? No all the stories of them are written up from imagination. The bible was written by first hand seeing these things done. |

God most likely has a mother and father...that's what I meant by pre-alpha |

Because there is a lot of evidence that points to it NOT being a first hand account. I didn't question the sanity of those who have claimed to see Fairies, Unicorns, or Gods, I asked if YOU believed in Unicorns or Fairies, since they fall in with god, as far as evidence (none) and that they can't be disproven. |

What exists? Humans who want to explore and study ‘what exists’ currently have only one way in which to accomplish that task; through observation. We can observe behavior directly, as in watching a herd of elephants to learn about that species. We can also observe indirectly, such as watching the orbit of a distant sun to make determinations of planets that orbit that sun. We don’t have to see the planets to make determinations about their existence. However, we can only do that because of thousands of years of direct observation of our own solar system. Using the science and technology we’ve developed to assist with indirect observations we can answer questions about that which we cannot directly observe.
All that we observe has characteristics which correspond to our understanding and thus our definitions of physical existence. That which is said to exist in spirit only, does not have physical traits and so we cannot observe directly or indirectly anything that is said to exist in the non-physical spiritual realm. Even those who believe in ‘other’ spiritual forms of live cannot provide enough information about the characteristic traits of anything spiritual that could make spiritual interaction with our physical world something to be observed, even indirectly. That is what makes spirituality a belief – anyone can believe anything about the spirit world and there can be absolutely no refuting what the individual believes. So whether or not a group of people have chosen to share a fantasy about the spiritual realm, there will always be points of disagreement, because no one beyond an individual mind has ‘shared’ observations of that realm. So now that I’ve pointed all that out, I just wanted to ask; Do you think hell might be a never-ending circular argument about the fundamental points of an individual fantasy which others will never accept? |

Hell if anything displays that God has a vindictive nature, instead of allowing non-believers to simply cease to exist after their death he has to keep them alive and torture them
Hell is evidence that believers who claim to love God, do so out of fear and that "Free Will" is actually "Fear Will" |
