Yep ... one more example of why a 'czar' is NOT a good idea ... especially THIS particular 'czar' ... makes all the right-sounding noises, but the people that NEED the relief ain't gonna get it from O ... or from him ... that $20BN that BP's being thugged into coughin' up ... ? Millions of dollars worth of claims have been filed by businesses and people who've lost their livelihoods because of the BP oil spill, but 60 days into the crisis, lawmakers say the company has paid only 12 percent of them. Feinberg promised that will soon change and encouraged workers to file their claims. President Obama this week named Feinberg as his "pay czar" for BP's oil spill escrow account. "We'll decide who will get paid," he promised, saying "we're going to get them paid immediately. A matter of days." But even as Feinberg made that promise today, ABC News watched as BP turned workers away from a claims center in Mobile, Alabama. same thing happened to me when I went to the social security office without a birth certificate,,
its important to read instructions ,, thats what they are there for... |

Bet there were a lot of people working under the table. In this fishing boating stuff. The lady that took people for boat rides. Probally stuffed the money right in her pocket. No taxes or nothing.

Yeah...if they are missing certain papers they can't claim anything, whether they forgot them or simply don't have them. Can't hold the government accountable if people think they can just walk up and get money.
Amazingly, it has been the exact same process for quite some years...I know, I know, it is amazing, but it is true. |

Yeah...if they are missing certain papers they can't claim anything, whether they forgot them or simply don't have them. Can't hold the government accountable if people think they can just walk up and get money. Amazingly, it has been the exact same process for quite some years...I know, I know, it is amazing, but it is true. lol , it aint easy ,,,,for sure I had my purse stolen with social security card,, couldnt replace the card without birth certificate AND drivers license and couldnt get drivers license without birth certificate AND social security card,,,,,,a real pain ,,same thing with enrolling my teen into a new school(I always wonder how so called 'illegal' immigrants can do it,,,) |

I have to deny people at Social Services all the time for not providing paperwork. I can tell them how to get it, I can tell them what they need, but I can not walk through the door or mail it to me for them. If you are too lazy to get it correct and provide the proof needed......then it is your fault you do not get the programs approved.
