Faith is a beautiful thing. It is nice to have. For a person to know that he or she is enjoying God's grace is uplifting and exhilarating. Just like love. But it's stupid. Why are all the nice, beautiful, and lovely things in this world all sooo very stupid? I don't like that. Like the lilies, and the birds. Are they smart? No they are not. Are they stupid? Yes, they are. Yet they, and cute puppies and young kittens are all much-much lovelier than a 60-year-old retired, old and grumpy, flat-footed gumshoe of a calculus teacher. Ahhh, disagree, Wux, I find such great beauty in the wrinkly antique containers ... Mere opposite end pts. of the same lineage of youth's beauty, you remark of ... and such wisdom as out of a babe's mouth ... albeit often laced w/ the bitter taint of life's heart broken wear and tear, defeat and regret, and etc... 'Stupid' is such a harsh term, and for me most inaccurate in describing almost anything, much less the highest qualities noted ... ... Pleasure ... upliftment, exhiliration, faith (in whatever floats and individual's boat)? ALWAYS intelligent choices in that they heal, hence fortifiy survival ... Nature wants lineage ... Subjectivity is an amazingly differential through the various rose coloured lenses ... All works of fiction ... It really ALL boils down to personal belief systems, not perfect (unattainable!) knowledge, but imaginary constructs established for each individual's bettered ability to cope and make sense, be strong, survive and take pleasure along the hard slog ... You have one, I have on, everyone does and they will always differ ... As will each describing the same 'colour' ... And consider the source, I 'believe' there to be a form of inherent consciousness in every molecule and the macro/microsm contained therein ... Though I'm loathe to believe the various types of consciousness necessarily bear great similarities ... Although they just might ... I do not 'believe' any one or thing has 'knowledge', divine or otherwise ... It is always on the move, just beyound full grasp, and always will be ... 'No right, no wrong', all up for a 'proving' that can be torn right back done again into yet another 'disproving', and so it rolls on out forever ... I venture to guess that lily just might be 'smarter' than all of us combined ... Edit ... It really is ALL mere 'majikal thinking' ... |

Through the misunderstandings, confusion, miscommunication, insults, defense and offense, bicker or banter ...
I find myself only brought closer through empathy ... We are all more alike than different ... We are all connected ... And Funches? I've a feeling I'd really like you in person and we'd never stop mutually brain storming ... (Of course, hmmmm, I'd wanna be sure and meet ya in an enviro sans television... ) So, for my part? I'd like to reiterate ... I love to discuss, thoughtscape, guess and dream ... As abstract as it can be towards fantasy construction ... It is all an elusive illusory delusion that enthralls ... I love to work w/ clay and see what we sculpt ... ... I would an abiding peace, love, joy and connection for us all ... I would also there be NO organized religions, just the Family of Earth ... Corny, but true - This works for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy05SYG9-LQ I have a dream, a song to sing, to help me cope with anything If you see the wonder of the fairy tale You can take the future even if you fail I believe in angels, something good in everything I see I believe in angels, when I know the time is right for me I'll cross the stream, I have a dream I have a dream, a fantasy, to help me through reality And my destination makes it worth the while Pushing through the darkness still another mile I believe in angels, something good in everything I see I believe in angels, when I know the time is right for me I'll cross the stream, I have a dream I'll cross the stream, I have a dream I have a dream, a song to sing, to help me cope with anything If you see the wonder of a fairy tale You can take the future even if you fail I believe in angels, something good in everything I see I believe in angels, when I know the time is right for me I'll cross the stream, I have a dream I'll cross the stream, I have a dream |

well if there was a god i'd like to know if he's standing in front of me for only one reason.....
to ask him a very deep and philosophical question.....the question being.... "what the hell is the platypus about?" seriously its like a beaver and duck squashed together, a mammal that lays eggs? were you smoking your own green? |

"what the hell is the platypus about?" seriously its like a beaver and duck squashed together, a mammal that lays eggs? were you smoking your own green? The duck-billed platypus is also capable of chlorophyll-production, and live off the air and water via turning water and carbon dioxide molecules into sugar, using the energy of the sun's rays. Some biologists believe, those who study particle (or practical?) physics, that the platypus colony living in the Chigga-Rigga region, a completely dried-up river valley in New South Wales, has solved the unification of the General Relativity theory with quantum mechanics, using the simple but elegant equation of Muench's constant's derivative integrated into the Burgouise-Fabriccio series. |

Wux is on fire and Dancere’s dancing
the platypus colony’s slowly advancing The Chigga-Rigga is filling with water soon there will be a platypus slaughter The new quantum theory is filled with black holes with unification at each of its poles the derivatives cancel with elegant grace and the race for string theory becomes a disgrace Einstein rolls over in his relative grave Niels Borh’s probabilities refuse to behave The red river valley at the south tip of Wales is the last thing we see in this strangest of tales |

Faith is a beautiful thing. It is nice to have. For a person to know that he or she is enjoying God's grace is uplifting and exhilarating. Just like love. But it's stupid. Faith appears to fall more into the realm of delusion ...people seem to believe that if they utter the word faith that things magically come true.. some would call that practicing witchcraft and some would say that claiming to have faith is claiming to be God .... and the reason why people are drawn to faith may not be because they actually have faith in a God or they believe in the existence of a God but because the illusion of faith may have some evolutionary value ... perhaps faith is the way nature will force the brain to rewire itself so that it can consciously control the subconscious evolving Man into God which would explain why some humans seek out Gods, but of course the advacements in technolgy will eventually phase out faith, God and evolution the phrase use to be "with God anything is possible" ... it has now become "with technology nothing is impossible" so a question that can be posed to God is....are you a God only because you can consciously control your subconscious or a God due to the manipulation of technology |

We'll call ourselves the "Very (Meta) Physical Physics Trio". I am open for suggestions for a different name, or for any, actually. We'll need some molecules to practice, though. Maybe a platypus or a penguin could be our manager. I'd lean more toward the platypus, 'coz penguins look a lot like nuns, and we want to avoid the image of a gospel singing group or a spiritual blues band. You are allowed to have a spirit, Bra, since you are so hung up on having one (you still have to ask Dancere, if she's okay with that), but none for me thanks, I strictly only do a "just say no" group. Rock'n'Roll is still a go though, as well as that third thing. |

but of course the advacements in technolgy will eventually phase out faith, God and evolution You sure do have a lot of faith in the future of technology. That's for sure. Or is it just delusion? the phrase use to be "with God anything is possible" ... it has now become "with technology nothing is impossible" Not quite yet, by a long shot. However, your faith in technology is obviously quite a bit stronger than most religious people's faith in god. I will grant you that. |

You sure do have a lot of faith in the future of technology. That's for sure. Or is it just delusion? perhaps it's delusional that you are using technology to ask me that question ....I guess you rely on faith to believe that your computer exist ...generally people just go to the store and buy one that do exist |

What's technology but a rearrangement of a cosmos that already exists?
A rearrangment, I might add, that the universe already did on its own long before we even invented the computer using our brains. Or did you forget that the universe created computers before we did? Or maybe you brought your brain at the store just recently? Or was it reposessed due to lack of payments? J/k kidding big guy. |

What's technology but a rearrangement of a cosmos that already exists? for all you know it could have been technology that created the cosmos A rearrangment, I might add, that the universe already did on its own long before we even invented the computer using our brains. if that is true..then why don't you use the universe to post in the forum instead of using a computer Or did you forget that the universe created computers before we did? in case no one told you...a computer is a Man-made device Or maybe you brought your brain at the store just recently? that would explain why I don't have delusions that a God created it Or was it reposessed due to lack of payments? only believers have to pay tithes to keep their "piece" of mind J/k kidding big guy.
